You can do it with either.  The /account/rename API call will do it, and the red & white portrait icon under the chat in the web view will do it too.

I don't see any calls to account/create in your sample Python code either.  Is this not yet implemented?

Did you miss this post?  account/create is a 404 - I've been unable to create an account using the API.

Edit: another error in the API doc: videopoker/deal has an response called 'deal_hash' which is documented as: "The key to the account you want to play the game with".  Copy/paste error I'm guessing.

Edit2: I got the bot running.  It plays optimally, adapting its play to take the size of the progressive pot into account.  That means it has a higher expected return than the wizardofodds 'optimal strategy', because that doesn't take the pot size into account.  It still managed to lose the 0.2 BTC you put in the bot account though...  Here's a lot log of it losing a lot, even though playing optimally (none of the decisions it made were any different than if the pot had been at 4000, btw):

I don't see any calls to account/create in your sample Python code either.  Is this not yet implemented?

Did you miss this post?  account/create is a 404 - I've been unable to create an account using the API.

I missed the post, sorry.  Looks like a bad typo in our doc - the service call is /account/new (not /account/create) but all the parameters are right.  We'll update our doc and push out changes ASAP.

Edit: another error in the API doc: videopoker/deal has an response called 'deal_hash' which is documented as: "The key to the account you want to play the game with".  Copy/paste error I'm guessing.

Edit2: I got the bot running.  It plays optimally, adapting its play to take the size of the progressive pot into account.  That means it has a higher expected return than the wizardofodds 'optimal strategy', because that doesn't take the pot size into account.  It still managed to lose the 0.2 BTC you put in the bot account though...  Here's a lot of it losing a lot, even though playing optimally (none of the decisions it made were any different than if the pot had been at 4000, btw):

I just lifted the withdrawal ban now that the account has been emptied. We're not placing any limitations on what you do with the bot, so feel free to host it and reap the referral rewards.

Sure, you can play our site from mobile browsers, but we are still interested in seeing a native mobile app.  The mobile app could have artwork better suited to the platform and perform much better than HTML5/JS on some phones.

That being said, we agree with you and will take your advice to switch to using the getRandomValues() crypto function.  It'll take us a day or two to implement it and test it.  We'll be rolling out higher Roulette limits soon and can include the getRandomValues() update with that.

I'm out in the sticks in Canada.  It's a huge country, and seems to only have cell coverage in the populated areas and along the highways.  I don't have any other services either, like electricity, water, etc. so it's not just cell service I'm missing...

Well, that variable is only used to tell 'jacks' (the C program that works out which cards to hold) what the payout for a royal flush is.  'jacks' only knows the payouts for 5 chips, and so I tell it the royal is worth 4000 chips if the progressive pot isn't available.  It doesn't need to know how many chips we're playing for.  I could tell it how many chips are being played for, and have it multiply all the payouts by that number of chips, but it seems simpler to just have it always use the same payouts.

A deck rich in face cards is good for the player.  Card counters increase their bet when there are more than the average number of face cards left.  So if (and I very much doubt it) more face cards are showing up than should, I wouldn't complain about it!
