Hi all,
I have received a notification from my wallet from the windows taskbar that I mined 1 block and 50 HODlcoins, but when I look in my wallet there is nothing... no transaction and when I locked my wallet address into the blockchain data, I can't find anything...
How is this possible ?
Did I miss something during the installation process of the wallet ?

Where you still syncing your wallet while you mined the block? No Huh weird, maybe you got really unlucky and someone submitted the answer before you? Not sure if thats possible though |

You should be able to see it in the debug.log file, if you're on windows thats in the appdata/roaming/hodlcoin folder |

You should be able to see it in the debug.log file, if you're on windows thats in the appdata/roaming/hodlcoin folder what term/word should I search for ? |

I mined 3 blocks in 3 hours this morning and they got in... weird... Well my address is constantly changing with each new block mined, so it's not the same as yesterday, is there anyway I could set it not to change ? Thx |

So I mined two days straight and nothing. I have a hash rate of about 100.
I was wondering if I screwed up because my wallet is locked and encrypted ? Do I need that off ?

I got the notification and the 50 coins were added to my balance, then next time I checked the wallet they were gone. My wallet was running the entire time just minimized so I don't know what happened- they were in my wallet and then gone.

I could be wrong here but my concern is that the volume on the exchanges will be so low because everyone is investing hodl. If I am not mistaken the exchanges need a certain volume or they discontinue trading the coin?

On YoBit the volume is 1.1BTC in the last 24 hours. I think it has to drop to .01BTC volume for a month before they will think about de-listing it. |

Don't forget the exchange also gets to keep the interest on all the deposited coins (unless they give it back to account holders, but no exchange has done that afaik). Granted that's not a large amount, but it should add a bit to profits on top of trading fees. |
