According to NIST and ECRYPT II, the cryptographic algorithms used in Bitcoin are expected to be strong until at least 2030. (After that, it will not be too difficult to transition to different algorithms.)

HI.
please tell me, this is just a fork of the CPU?
where to get the fastest version of miners?
(I use a miner, who at i5-4570 produces about 80 hashes/s)
thanks.

Whoever is spamming twitter with re-tweets please stop.  We do not need spam to support this coin and it is obvious when fake accounts are used.

I have no idea what Bittrex will be doing with the fact that HOdl won the vote.. I have seen talk of a voting system being added to the Bittrex website.. I have also seen that there may be requirements for a trader to have ( 30 days old account, or 0.1 trading history..) before they can vote... This is all speculation.. However if you don't have a Bittrex account or you have one and have no trading history.. This may be the time to get things lined up.. just in case we have to vote all over again.. I simply like to plan ahead and nothing has been officially announced..

I got the impression they are thinking of adding the feature, in their slack, and did a trial run to see how it would pan out. Don't think there was any mention that the winning coin would actually be added. Would be nice if they did a ninja add though as a reward.

When can we expect the website to be up and running, an estimate would be fine?
