seem wolf miner does not support getwork protocol yet? all im seeing is internal server when trying to use wolf-hodlminer with qt wallet.  Huh

They removed getwork in favor of GBT, which it does not support.

u where in the works of a gpu miner is'nt wolf ...any luck with that ....now that every one is solo mining gpu miner would be great...

The hashrate is 4x lower than it was with a pool. Finding blocks in solo is much better than having that botnet mine most of the coins.

That supposed botnet must have been buying a lot of TDs because the locked up supply has been shrinking
since the fork even with forced lockup of all new coins.

This is not correct.

Yet another unsupported assertion on your part. The locked up supply is lower both relatively (54% vs 65%)
and absolutely (3.07 M vs 3.11 M).

Here's an unsupported assertion: there was no botnet. It's just as valid as any claim there was.

Edit: On the other hand I will support my assertion.

The network hashrate pre-fork was around 400K. My i7 hashes at 275 H/s. That's the equivalent of less than
1500 i7's mining hodl for the entire network. If there was a botnet in there it would have to be pretty small
and therefore insignificant.

I there was a botnet it would be easy for pool operators to detect it by looking for multiple connections
from different IPs from the same user.

Hmmm, what do you suppose that costs?

Now your using lame cliches. Do you call everyone who disagrees with you a hater? That's pretty childish.
I'm presenting facts, I don't know how you can interpret that as hate.

What does the cost of CPUs have to do with the network hashrate? There were the equivalent of 1500 total
before the fork. Do you really think that's indicative of a botnet? How few legitimate miners do you think
you had? Hint: more than you do now.

I've also noticed that TD lockup time has increased due to the reduced block generation rate. Some of my TDs now
mature two days later than stated when I bought them. No more interest though so a drop in effective interest rate.

Are you willfully blind to what you've done? Everything I warned you about has come to pass and all you can do is
call me a hater. Try looking in the mirror. You hate dumpers, pools and anyone who disagrees with you.

For the record I didn't sell a single hodl before the fork was announced, they were all locked up. A big mistake in
hindsight.

That's a lowblow, joblow.

You're a HAter and you're not interested in discussion, you're here to advance an agenda for some minor advantage. I'm acting on behalf of HOdlers, and at their direction. HOdlers are happy they can mine again, that the price has risen, that volume is ready to return and that the botnets have been banished for now.

Now you're name calling, that's something haters do. You're still making unsubstantiated claims of botnets, speaking for other
people, and now you claim I'm not interested in discussion. I have been very consistent is asking you
to justify your claims with data and reasoned arguments so support your assertions. You are the one who didn't want to discuss it,
you just keep repeating the same baseless claims over and over.

I was happy the way things were, and assumed you had integrity with your strong language about the specifications being
"cast in stone". That was your word, and you broke it.

I am amused that everything you accuse me of reflects more on you. I am less amused that I can't get out of this mess for
a year. Yes I'm pissed and I show it, but I have valid reasons.

Please, make all mining auto-deposits to one HODL address. Now miners can't vote at Nutocracy.

Yes, recommend using the -miningaddress option to mine to a single address and make voting at Nutocracy easier.

I wonder how is the investment period calculated per block found, if everything is mined to the same address?

Each block is calculated separately - and each block matures 204,765 blocks from when it was mined . . . that's 365*561. You can spend the matured portion even while waiting for other funds to mature on the same address. Technically you spend from transaction outputs rather than from locked or unlocked addresses, so there's no problem at all.

Sam noticed they seem to be on the right block now, so looks like they are now on V2 - just waiting for them to re-open deposit/withdrawal facilities.

They where always shameless and full of shit but this is just hillarious.
lol

Withdrawal has been open for days but deposit hasn't

No
it also gives you a message saying "no withdrawl for such currency" at the end.
This is just a joke.

Deposit for such currency is temporary off.

Unfortunately blocks are still not accepted, even with this patch you get an error with "miner does not HODL" or something similar..

Thanks OC, if you could post that error, it would be helpful and speed in getting this problem resolved for you.

Update on this: I was talking this through with Fuzzbawls and here is some information on current state of play.

In V2 - GetBlockTemplate will error out as it doesn't add a TX with hodled funds as is required post 86000 Fork

In Fuzzbawls patched version - iss67 - this problem is corrected and a coinbase TX with hodled funds is added.
https://github.com/hodlcoin/hodlcoin/tree/iss67_patch

However, we assume existing pool and third party miner software is then overwriting this TX with an unhodl'd TX, resulting in a "miner does not HODL" error.

Therefore, we recommend pools and 3rd party miners use the iss67 patch, but either do not overwrite the TX, or overwrite it with a valid HODL'd TX.
