The payout issue is related to the message that was included with the payout that listed the blocks that were being paid out for. On some of the smaller miners who would receive infrequent payouts, this list could be very long, and for some exceeded the allowable length of a message - preventing the payout from occurring, and making the list even longer on the next payout attempt. No payouts have been lost, just unable to be sent so far.  As an interim fix the block list in the message will be disabled. This should be a quick fix and involve 5 - 10 minutes downtime.

The pool fix has been applied and all the stuck payouts have now been processed.

H.

Thanks as always bro, you're the best!

lol... so lack of sleep has only PARTIALLY made me stupid... See below...

the last few from ByteEnt payout seemed a little off to me...

2/7/2016 06:51:30  55'530 + 1 BURST-ACGB-YGHQ-G9ZL-5XD7U /
2/7/2016 06:51:30  25'068.71 + 1 BURST-J8HZ-99WH-5B3G-BCRMF /
2/7/2016 06:51:29  123'400 + 1 You /
2/7/2016 06:51:29  154'250 + 1 BURST-WKTT-6SP6-NNFD-6F7MW /

oops... so I'll wait for it to clear, then redistribute, however, this time, I think I'll make sure to not pay the asset issuing account xD

Hi, so the 123'400 was supposed to be part of the dividend? When will this be distributed?

Just want to know so I can get ByteEMini paid out correctly.

Thank you.

This will be paid out during March's payout, along with another 100k bonus for the idiocy on my part.

I know of 2 working Burst Block Explorers and right now they both are down.

Burstcoin.info and Burstcoin.biz both come back as down..  I just cleaned my cache and all that nonsense...nothing.  Burstcoin.info has been down for a few days and Burstcoin.biz has been in a semi-working state for a fair amount of time.

My bad boss, I've not kept a close enough eye on the blockex I suppose, but I renewed everything before it actually said it was expired, and didn't change the key, so I assumed that it wouldn't have any problems, my fault for assuming I guess...

Let me check this out and see what I can come up with...

edit - well, I figured it out...

The SSL from the original site expired today, and though I renewed it, I didn't realize that its DNS was hosted at another location, and I also didn't check...

So, because I didn't have an email address like Admin@block.burstcoin.info, I decided to use DNS method of authentication, with the belief that it would be the easiest method to authenticate without having those email addresses, though, it would apprear that since the DNS isn't hosted there, I was incorrect in making that assumption....

NOW, I've got to login to the site itself that tiga has created, and see what is going on... however, that too is a problem, as I have never needed to do this, There was never a need for me to have the admin, as the blockex is on a VM that was originally setup for tiga's personal use... So, I suppose it would be time to move the blockex to another VM now, and/or something like that... either way, my apologies for not following up with this after I did the renewal today, today hasn't been the best day ever... I was hoping to get much more done than I did, and now it looks like I won't even get sleep either...

(no, nothing to do with anything coin related.)

Toying with the idea of an asset based on a very high percentage special edition DMD staking wallet, that will pay double or more (than any other), DMD per year from staking...
the other wallets still pay a good percentage, but this one pays much more (50% a year without need to move money around, and all that jazz. Not to mention the value of the rare coin when those 2 years of that percentage rate end. I have already purchased the legendary, just thinking of releasing the asset and wanted to get some opinions.

What I was thinking, is since I do happen to like staking, and the fact that DMD is continually steady or going up in price, and the stake rate is really good, especially with my new address I've obtained... (called a Legendary address, entitles you to your name forever on the chain, and also a wallet capable of increased stake power.)

I was putting some thought into releasing an asset based on this staking wallet, providing yet another source of funding to BURST, and hopefully figuring out a way to also offer DMD directly as opposed to BURST for monthly payouts. My goal here would be to get the communities looking at eachother, and trying to desegregate the altcoin 'factions' we've seem to developed here in the forums...

I think, the coins with good merit and/or new and amazing technology, and good communities, should work together to avoid scams, and become a more unified front. Not only will this provide more community spirit, but will potentially also provide help on either side if needed, and much more...

Anyway, let me know what you think of this. Thanks!

So, I suppose it would be time to move the blockex to another VM now, and/or something like that...

Now if only we had a place to host VM's for the benefit of the community ..... ;-)

This happens when your Internet Explorer is really old.  Grin
You should consider an update. Maybe the wallet works anyway.

Google Chrome if you're using the wallet standalone.

For accessing the wallet from daWallet's AIO plotter/miner, apply all Windows updates to get the latest IE build.

-[ANN]- a few diff anns actually...

[ANN-1] - About block.burstcoin.info blockex and its downtime

-The blockex is being moved to a new server on one of my hosts, and will be back up as soon as possible, we apologize for the issues... Please bear with us as we resolve this issue.

[ANN-2] - CF for the AT work completed and to be completed (as well as other generalized improvements to BURST's code and AT system done by vbcs / CIYAM / core team)

-I have created the wallet for this CrowdFund campaign, and will be posting links to the AT itself, once I finish with these announcements and create the AT, this is for the work to be accomplished by vbcs in regards to the thread here...

https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=1316199.new#new

-Further information will become available when received. But either way your donation is going to a great cause, and an awesome developer who has done some truly amazing things for BURST and QORA...which brings me to my next ANN...

[ANN-3] - Some ideas for breaking this shell in the alt communities that seems to always exist, and GETTING SOME REAL COLLAB DONE!

-I was speaking with a couple of the team, and was thinking of an idea to get BURST and QORA working together more, after all, they are basically our cousin coin, and they have a great team, and can do a lot to help us and Vice-versa! So, my idea is as follows...

   1. Post both here, and in QORA thread about the idea (below)

   2. Idea consists of making of either a new thread or an entirely new location in which we could all get together and communicate, get to know the details of the coin we don't, and basically just get together! I don't understand why the separation of the alt coins exists the way it does, especially with our two coins! We are the first ones ever to do a transfer directly from one coin to another, but due to some theft and nonsense that happened, we didn't even get the word out about that! I would like THAT to change, as well as just the disconnect that exists between our two communities, as I believe CIYAM was right when he said that we can benefit each other greatly!

   3. I'm thinking the easiest way to start, would be just a thread on bct, here. Once that gets going, hopefully we can all start to talk and get along and start making progress happen faster, and get combined projects going, things like that! Let me know what you think of this, but I'm thinking it should happen.

**one last thing, the draft of my new asset (https://docs.google.com/document/d/12o7gnqFWqnJFb1mPNDTwgdsCqoxavkdvJx3hF7LvCXo/) will be turned into a pre-release announcement likely early next week after I do the necessary recalculations, and whatnot required to make it into such. So stay tuned!**

A couple of questions relating to Mining on ninja?

I can see what happens when the Pool wins a Block but do you accrue any Burst on the other Blocks?

What is the period of Time / number of Blocks that the Historic Block data is based on?

If there is a guide somewhere please point me to it?
