It could happen. bitcoin payment is very great. bitcoin facilitate all transactions that we do .. bitcoin has great power to bring down and eliminate the bank !!!
If bitcoin replaces bank place in future means somehow it helpful for simple wage people to get avoid from the bank interest and finance problems. Government also make their transactions so transparent. It would be easy to identify the right party. Bitcoin should replace bank's place in future. I don't think government let the bitcoin to take banks place. governments getting lots of profit from banks taxes and interest. and bitcoin is a interest free source. if bitcoin disappear banks. governments will bend down.. they will give their all power to stop bitcoin but bitcoin is a public currency. and public is the power now. |

Yeah government would not let bitcoin take over banks because banks are great help for world economy many investors and company might prefered banks than bitcoin because its very safe for them to put money their. And government does not accept it because they cannot get profit with it because they dont have control for bitcoin. So its very impossible to bitcoin to take over the bank because overall banks have ruled by law and government. |

I think bank is more important for the government, since they can rule fiat through bank. Actually bitcoin doesn't need bank, but most people still need bank to get fiat after it get converted from bitcoin. So for now, bank won't disappear because of bitcoin. In future, who knows. Yes, we can't dispense banks because we sti use fiat. We cannot use bitcoin in our daily expenses yet so we are still reliant to the power of fiat. If bitcoin becomes very popular and can be use anywhere any time and can purchase anything, then fiat is gone and so is the bank. |

Bitcoin has got the potential to grow much higher than Banks. Now in reality banks are more are the universally accepted as the best financing system. So eliminating of banks is not possible but alternate growth would happen. Bitcoin has the potential to grow big, but bigger then all the banks? No that will not happen. In a best case scenario bitcoin should be able to outcompete with vis/master card The chance is really small that it can happen and that is because Bitcoin is now not that popular now so that is the problem. If you want to talk about replacing than it is not the right time, it must be more popular. |

No bitcoin is much younger for that and it is much weaker to replace banks, also after its establishment and stability it will not able to replace banks even at that time, because banks are not only for saving public money but it is also useful for state financial matters etc.

I am also thinking the same the future of bitcoin is laid in the banks and with the government, I like to happen like that , with that bitcoin will get more stronger support and a big strength, the price will come to a stability and it will become a reliable currency to everyone and after that no one will say that bitcoin died or bitcoin will die. |

It's not about how long a thing is. Bitcoin still has the potential to be the global currency. Fiat money is used by people simply because we didn't have any other choice but to use fiat. When we were born, there's fiat money already. Now we have an alternative currency which is bitcoin. Fiat money has a challenger now. There's a competition now in which currency to use. Some people use bitcoin but most people still use fiat money because that's what they used to use and they don't have knowledge about bitcoin. Put it simply like the competition between bitcoin and fiat has just begun. i dont think so....banks are important part of the society
The human beings had money before but there's no banks. We lived in a world without banks already, I'm pretty sure we can still live without it. Although there are consequences. |

I honestly do not think that the bitcoin can do this, the banks just have too much power all over the world, they will never let this happen.
The point is that banks are gonna create a own coin and it will most likely will be a lot bigger because its created by banks..
