Can Bitcoin make Banks disappear?

It seems that experts say that Bitcoin 'Here to Stay,' But Banks Could Disappear.

I totally agree with this, as long as there is government , banks will always be there and never go become dead. Because the government is earning big amount of income because of banks.
And it is one of the legal ways to get money from people. But it is impossible for bitcoin to make banks disappear.

Bitcoin will never make bank disappear because just looking for the fact. they having a relationship between the bank with their fiat and bitcoin. And bitcoin will never make bank stable basically the system of bank and bitcoin is very different, but the bank can taking or adopt some system from bitcoin to make improvements for their system.

You are right, banks guarantee for the security of our money and we cab get back our money even when the bank loot out, I will say bitcoin do not need to replace banks but will need to make place for itself in banks.

I don't think banks will ever adopt Bitcoin alongside fiat. But on another note, I don't want banks to adopt Bitcoin. I can already see them block/freeze accounts due to "suspicions" that you have gotten your coins by doing fraudulent things or theft. I am happy that Bitcoin gives me the opportunity of owning my wealth in full. No need for banks to adopt Bitcoin.

Of course the bitcoin (or to be more precise, all the blockchain technology) has the potential enough to make banks disappear, and that is why most of them are so interested in adopting this technology to improve their current one; however I think it never will be sufficient to remove their fake model of business and sooner rather than later banks will be replaced by bitcoin or similar options.

The blockchain around bitcoin is a huge interest to banks as they pay high fees, soo if they can save their money they will do. Bitcoin has no such service as banks, they allow you to buy a house and pay over 40 years, bitcoin lending hasnt such security to make a loan above 1 year and even that period the risk to dont get the bitcoin is huge.

Banks are really needed in a government. And it is not going to disappear. Because it is one of the sectors that makes an economy profitable.
And I don't think the government is going to allow this to happen because it is really a matter of importance.
And no one is going to control the flow of money.

I withdraw some cash from an ATM few weeks ago and just as i'm about to take my money out of the ATM the cash went back inside the machine so i tried to talk to the bank what i can do, and they told me to wait for a week for them to see if there were cash left inside. Hope they'd disappear sooner. and that we can all be using crypto.

I think bitcoin cant make banks disappear. Government needed banks to make their coutry more profitable. And banks will surely find a way on bitcoin will not conquer banks and make them disappear. Government will help too because they cant get a tax on bitcoin transactions

I agree with you. Bitcoin can't make banks disappear. In addition to what you have said, banks are centralized so I think millionaires would trust banks more than bitcoin. Even if bitcoin will be probably used as a currency in the future, I think it will not replace banks because banks are more secured than a bitcoin wallet since the one handling your money in banks are bank employees that will be liable to law if something bad happens to your money while in a bitcoin wallet, Even if you got all your bitcoin stolen, nobody can be deemed as guilty.

What I am doing now is that I'm earning through bitcoin but I'm withdrawing it on ATM of the bank. So it has a very important matter between them.
And it is not a good thing if banks are going to  disappear in a country because of bitcoins.

yes i am agree with you. i also think that banks will become more strong when they will accept bitcoin. because people will start trading and exchange through banks. so bank will receive mark up from these transaction.
