In my opinion now the price is too high.
About two months ago BTC price was less than 300 dollars and from january 2015 up to october 2015 it has remained stable around 200 dollars.
I'm a newbie and joining the bitcoin community now but I do trade stocks.
While it's true never invest with a backward sight i do ask you that are more expert than me here, on which bases and fundamentals do you state the price will rise?

Hey man.
As you were asking for some fundamentals I recommend you to follow this link and read that very informative beginners guide in terms of fundamental analysis for Bitcoin. I think it's really useful.

I wont do this thing off holding when the price is up, i know about the market that whenever their is bull run in market their will be bear run, so when ever i see high rate i sell the invested Bitcoins in the market and i know and what i do when the crash starts from the selling rate i go to 15 to 25% crash rate and start buying back. and this strategy of my doing trading is given profit till now. Like this i am able to double my bankroll and then the Purchasing limit is also gone to double.

So their is no point of holding it for long time,

yes i am nether gonna sell any of my coins at this time because its the common thing with bitcoin it goes down people think it crashed and then it again started rising

And its not practical to sell coins this time, price its now low, won't get any profit this time if we sell it...
true. please be patient and don't panic, you can sell it soon, price will up
i hope

I would too if I were you then. I would indeed go wait and nothing to sell. You never know what might happen later.
Maybe the price goes up or you never know. But that's a risk you should take.

Thanks Denker for your guide.
Actually I wanted to mean something different.
The whole thing is about the big fork, or if you want, the dispute of the size of blockchain.
There's no chance of growth if developers and entrepreneurs will leave the scene as the bitcoin may fail.
I red a lot of articles arguing about a split about X11, core, classic and other bitcoin communities.
The result could end in different blockchains, or one blockchain which does not accept bitcoins out of certain nodes.
Now the point is: I may be ready for bitcoin but bitcoin is ready for me?
The questions still remain: how can we be so sure the price of bitcoin will keep growing in short/medium term if these are the basis?

Thats a good decision not to sell any coin at this tragic situation of bitcoin's price.
I think waiting for a long time will benefit you much than going for a sell now

I think it's a good idea to sell BTC when you have a large bunch of them and at a very good price, selling when the price is falling is not a smart thing to do and people feel annoyed after they see the price recovering.

Its would be smart, but not on this moment the bitcoin is low at the moment.
But the future of the bitcoin is very good for profit later on .

You should now be patient till the price will rise and gain profit.

I will do if I were you. Indeed, it is much wiser to keep the coins. That is also safer.
If you now, for example going to give out then you have a chance to make you lose. And if you wait you might later make much more profit.

So I think it is wiser to wait indeed.

As you see, the Bitcoin is crashing and trying to break a new low until it stop.
But I won't sell any Bitcoin at this time, I believe it will rise again as it always do. Smiley

Seeing that the halving is nearing, you are partly correct. Also it is only good if you did not bought above the $400 range (which I assume you did not.) For those who bought during those rallies, the only hope I can see is when the halving comes to play. Wink

I think its the best thing to not sell them with the halving and the future of the bitcoin.
I think you should wait on the right moment to gain a lot of profit on your bitcoins.
We just need to wait till the price will get higher.

i think it is good to sell btc with the price rising, for example selling 1/10 every $50 rise so that if the price falls again you would be in profit in USD, I don't think it is smart to sell BTC when it's falling since mostly it recovers.

It's a smart move to keep it and wait for the price to rise. It always bumped back, and it will do so again. Selling now would just be a mistake.

That is indeed a very good idea. I think this fact too.

If you sell now is the chance later that you do not get enough money.

I would actually go quietly wait and see if the value goes up.

My neither why should I sell my bitcoins if the price will rise to a high amount in a long term investment. It would be very stupid even if you got a short term, the halving is coming and than the price will increase to a high number.

I'm not gonna sell any of my coins it would be stupid to do.
We just need to wait till the price will go upwards.
I think it will take some months but it will be worth it.

I don't understand people saying "I'll never sell my coins! never ever!"
I mean, it would be stupid to sell right now, I'm ok with that. But what if there is a huge rise and tomorrow btc is worth 2k$? Would you still not sell?

Considering how unpredictable and unstable btc is, I can guarantee that any rise high enough will see me selling everything. Just because you can be nearly sure that price will drop again once in some times so you will buy again!

I have found that in life, no matter the market, a strong practice of dollar cost averaging will ride you well through the good and the hard times. Bitcoin is no different.

It has done me good over these rough months. Just followed what almost everyone is saying: buy low sell high. Honestly, I already sold some in the past and bought back in with cheaper prices, thus making my stack bigger. Smiley

It's a healthy strategy older than bitcoin. Many currencies have gone through this situation. It's common sense and proven to work.
