I would say around $1,00 to start, that's somewhere near 0.002 BTC.
This is for the long term investments, its not the question if it will reach $1,00 but when  Smiley

The V1.1 Windows Wallet (VPN) isn't actually available. The only beta of V1.1 available is on Linux actually

The time to sync is about 3-5 minutes
