I have seen a large amount of distaste towards Muslims from members of this forum. It seems endemic in the USA and europe.

The problem is not muslims the problem is religion, id eradicate both christians and muslims, but the muslims are the only ones that look like a danger because their extremism.
Edit: By christian/muslim i mean the religion itself not the people.

You can't and shouldn't hate people because of their religion, nationality, race etc.
You may hate or love someone because of his/her character, hearth etc, but to hate all group of people just because of their faith, this is completely wrong.

I do but only in a way, as I have no dealings with muslims in my daily life; rather, it is the image that they are portrayed by the mainstream media that I hate.
So to phrase it more precisely, I suppose that I hate people that are fanatic, intolerant and antagonistic to reason.

Bah. You are saying nonsense. Think about it. I believe what you want to say is "You shouldn't hate because of their ...." I would disagree though with both the Can't and Shouldn't. For example, we COULD hate the people of the 16th century Aztec empire because they killed maidens in the worship of their sun-god. It's hard to see anyone having a problem with that. Now having said that, are all the religions of the world that generate righteous hate eradicated? That's an open question, isn't it? My recently being attacked by terorist ( ISIS were behind of it )

I would suggest your correct your spelling error to Muslims. I only hate Extremist Muslims, not actual Muslims. Muslims are not to blame for IS. As much as Christians and Hindus are not to blame for extremism. I'm a christian so I can't hate them I must love them and help them. I am also Christian, we must be accepting of other faiths, it is mainly intolerance of the media for religions than anything else. The media try to grip to as many stories as they can and keep them rolling for as long as possible, to get a gripping idea. |

This is a question that should be asked mostly of Muslims in Muslim lands. After all, if one of them looks like he is turning against the religion, the rest of them beat him or kill him. The reason they do this is so that they don't get beaten or killed. This is a question that should be asked of Muslims in Muslim lands. |
