I think it is not correct to compare the numbers. With the increasing development of science improved the weapons and methods of destruction. So the numbers are constantly growing. But the goals of the Inquisition and terrorists are different. They hate Muslims.

I do feel that there is no "moral equivalency."  If the numbers can be compared, then today's Islam is 100-1000x more violent than yesterday's Christians.  If the numbers cannot be compared, then it is impossible to say that yesterday's Christians are as brutal as today's Islam.

Either argument accepts as a premise the barbaric, brutal nature of Islam today.  And that's Islam as a whole - it includes the good, peaceful muslims and the violent extremists.

You don't need religion to kill. It's in your blood. Let's talking about animals, more than 500 mio animals are killed annually by cosmetics industry (just for women pleasure) what about sport hunting?

Can't agree with your post. I have seen highly educated Muslims committing terrorist acts. I have seen Muslims born and brought up in Western nations blowing up people in casinos and pubs. So it has nothing to do with upbringing.

I think that single parenting is not enough. It is also important education. If a person is educated he will not believe in any religion. Moreover, he's smart enough to understand that the Islamists use it to their advantage.

but you see, let's take islamist extremists.. They are influenced by religion (faith, beliefs) that is most popular like 99% in that region, if he was a muslim in some peaceful god forbidden land, I doubt that he will be all like "ALLAHU AKBAR!" that much while killing people around.. So it does depend on religion, beliefs, faith and region... Race can also have influence.

99.99% of the terrorist incidents in the world are being perpetrated by religious Muslims. So it is fair to depict terrorists as Muslims. If you are getting offended by this, then you should ask your clerics why almost all the terrorists are Muslims. I have never seen a Christian or a Hindu blowing up in public place killing civilians.
