I do not generalize it, but most of them really view their action with what has been told to them thru religion. There are two types of a theist. One that is gnostic and the other is agnostic. I refer the agnostic theist because this are the people that doesn't judge you base on your religion, they instead respect yoyr point of view and they are the people that doesn't force people to believe with your belief.

If ISIS didn't give backsliding Muslims enough chance to become strong Muslims, and killed them as infidels too fast, they might have made a mistake. Maybe they will do better next time.
