What will be done with the Crypti collected by the Lisk team?

Trying out this ol' signature advertisement, because I sent a bit of moola to this ICO.

Right now, 1 LISK = 0.0089 USD

the value of Ethereum (1 ETH) was 0.30 USD on launch
...NOT GOING TO QUOTE THE TROLL

Turd, is that you? I thought I flushed you hours ago, but here you are, posting your stink in the bitcoin forums.

Interesting, I like the open discussions and this should be totally allowed. (sigh)......

the video is interesting too, a fiverr.com JOB most likely and they usually costs about 100Bucks. not bad for an ICO that has raised close to 2,000 BTC.
see here: http://tinyurl.com/zrcz92n

What is interesting again is that I'm totes SOLD but do not yet have some real world examples as to how this could be used in the real world to make blockchain tech better??

ideas / thoughts / inspirations anyone?

Google Play and Apple's AppStore both take a 30% cut from paid app sales.

App developers may get attracted to Lisk & Dapps to avoid Apple's & Google's %30 commission.

Can any Apple & Google App devs here weigh in on this point? I'd love to hear your prospective on Dapps...

And they'd also avoid the exposure their apps get by being in the Apple/Google stores too. I don't see this as a viable option really. Besides that, most people aren't fond of sideloading apps (even if they know how) outside the stores in the first place.

In a whole, the same, what you can do with NXT or ETH.

Maybe you develop plugins for other websites and you are paid as this plugin is used.

Or you can even use it to "form" your company/foundation/trust. A lot of opportunities...

I can't imagine it'll be of much use to them. They can try to sell a tiny bit, but otherwise, it'll just sit there forever I expect.

Even if by some miracle XCR survives, who would want it? The Lisk devs here will own an insane percentage of all XCR available. I can't see anyone interested in buying XCR on that fact alone... it's like infinite sell pressure.

Hey, I noticed Swedish and Finnish weren't yet added to the OP. Would this still need translations?Smiley I can take care of that if you give me a couple of days. Smiley

Do they have their own BTT sub forum?

They have the scandinavian forum here so maybe swedish would be enough there: https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?board=45.0

But on forum.bitcoin.com we have both Finnish and swedish. Let me know if you want me to work on any of them. Smiley

Best to translate it to Swedish only. Smiley

The video was done by http://hypercubestudios.net, we don't have access to the funds yet. So we can't produce a $x000 video at this moment.

why web login is out ?

So you can test our client already. Smiley

Did the devs said how are they going to spend the raised funds?

This was the only thing I said until now about how we going to spend the funds.

We will spend all the money on Lisk. This includes marketing, conference/meetup visits, salaries, office space, hardware we might need, infrastructure, business establishment (taxes) and much more.

I'm in the process of getting an approval for it Smiley

List of Ethereum Dapps and their status, http://dapps.ethercasts.com/ . 157 projects total, though a few show abandoned status, many more are concept with varying update periods up to over a year. About half appear to be active with demos or live with GNU or MIT license repositories. Also a number of stealth projects.
What's your point of sharing this info ?
I think it's showing that DAPPS are the future and a JavaScript based language will attract even more developers.
Very interesting.  Wonder how many of these we could duplicate in Lisk?  I wonder how many of these developers might switch to / invest in Lisk?  Thanks, Mike!

Did the devs said how are they going to spend the raised funds?

They will probably not be heard from anymore the day the ICO ends. Myself i would move to a mansion in asia or south america where my money could last for a lifetime in luxury! And i would stay offline for some years while partying and having fun with girls, so i didnt have to take any heat from angry "donators" Grin

The organization of that website sucks.  Here's the data in table form.  Data, beautiful organized data.

This is actually a very important list. Almost everybody in the whole world trying to develop a dapp right now is listed here.  We want these people working on Lisk.

I wonder if anybody would be crazy enough to accumulate the email addys for all these dapp developers and contact them about joining the Lisk ICO?

Very interesting.  Wonder how many of these we could duplicate in Lisk?  I wonder how many of these developers might switch to / invest in Lisk?  Thanks, Mike!

I believe my team alone can recreate them in LISK once we finish mastering LISK and take into heart the documentation Wink

Don't believe that making some dapps in Javascript will be very hard since there is so many resources on developing with it. Hopefully some new developers find interest in this also.
