Bull$#!t... Show me one real life IPO where you've seen the share value of IPO investors get diluted with the increase of number of investors.

I was going to invest more in this ICO, but now that my Lisk funds keep dropping dramatically on daily basis, while Lisk Devs get richer, I rather invest elsewhere.

Jesus H. Christ.  I am totally astounded by the complete ignorance of many people posting here.   What the hell were you doing in math class as a kid?

THERE IS A FIXED 85M LISK BEING SPLIT PROPORTIONALLY BETWEEN A RISING NUMBER OF DONORS.

THEIR ARRIVAL REDUCES YOUR OWNERSHIP SHARE.

THEIR MONEY KEEPS THE VALUE OF YOUR REDUCED OWNERSHIP SHARE AT YOUR ORIGINAL DONATION VALUE.

AS YOUR SHARE GOES DOWN,  THE SATOSHI PRICE GOES UP TO COMPENSATE.

YOU LOSE NOTHING!

And that 10% of Lisk going to core devs and consultants?  It's currently only worth about $100,000 total.   That's NOT "living large".

To double that $100K, they've got to double the market cap of Lisk on the open market...

AND AT THAT POINT YOU WILL GET THE EXACT SAME PERCENTAGE BOOST ON YOUR HOLDINGS AS THEY DO!

 Cheesy

This is because a lot of people don't read the information, don't read the documentation, don't read your calculations, don't read all the posts on this matter...

I did 2 transactions to the same address and i was told in 2-3 days it will update. I sent the deposit on Monday. Anything can be done?

Can you please check if the 2nd transaction appears on the ICO page? If not, please open a (new) ticket on http://support.lisk.io/. Normally, it should work now. Smiley

Update: Ok, asked Olivier. The re-scans are currently executed manually. Later this evening he will setup a job scheduler, which will make it automated. So please wait until then. Smiley

It is updated now. Thanks

Yes, the re-scan is now automatic every 10 minutes. That means those who sent 2 or more BTC transactions to the same address should now be good! Smiley

It's people like you who keep hyping this ICO that get me even more worried about investing in this ICO.

As Lisk Market Cap rises during the ICO from $1 million to $2 million, investors fund value remains the same, while Devs double their money.

Isn't it enough that most Devs are known to invest their personal funds in their own coin prior to future products releases? So why double the advantage?

I'm glad I kept most of my funds in ETH, because ETH is up 125% since the beginning of this ICO (Feb 22), while the funds I invested this ICO have NOT risen in value.

please, Lisk has a similar rule of SEC (SafeCoin Exchange) crownd funding, see the price in bittrex (crownd funding price : 5 satoshi. The CEO just have 1% of total, but he had just a Whitepaper also... In Lisk they have 10%, but project is very advanced.

For a newcomer, i believe the arrange is fair.

From the Guide:

"4. IMPORTANT! Once you clicked on the “ACKNOWLEDGE RECEIPT” button the passphrase will be deleted. Therefore you have to download or save the passphrase before! (A fix will be provided within the next days for those who lost their passphrases BEFORE the ICO ends! Once Lisk launched, you won’t be able to recover lost passphrases)"

Any update on this fix?    Undecided

I believe you need the keys/passphrase from each exchange you make, once the coin goes live. It's that little key button thingy in your login area. If you get your key/passphrase now, just remember to save it somewhere safe.

You know what I think would be a good idea?

To have 2 threads of Lisk, one unmoderated alive just so people can't go "uhh moderated thread means censoring and shadieness", another one moderated for other people who are tired of having to read an unending amount of posts with FUD being spread by random accounts who have nothing better to do. We could have more civil discussions there where the blatant spamming and CAPSing and stuff would get deleted. (this obviously does not mean just deleting opinions that aren't the ones most others share).

Think that would help.

I'm disappointed too that my Lisk hasn't skyrocketed in price, even though it hasn't been released yet, ICO is ongoing, and exchanges haven't even been decided on yet.

Some may say I have unreasonable expectations, but I would argue in giant fonts (with nice colors!) that I am right, as of course the louder and more annoying my argument, the more right I am.

But I could swear to Jesus that when I pressed new exchange a week ago I saw no passphrase. Only for web login, not for new exchange. wtf ??

Well, it's not like we can get our Lisk right now anyway, so not a big deal to wait. Once the coin is live is when I think we need the keys/phrases, just so we can get our coins.

I'm not sure if people are being serious now, but I'll answer it as if this was a serious question:

The end amount of Lisk you get will be proportional. So it will vary based on how much is invested. Those who invested early would see like 10x as much Lisk back then, as they do now. But the valuation hasn't changed, so it just means the Lisk you do have is worth more.

Well, you can get the passphrase right now if you want to ... just click that little key thingy in your login area, next to the exchange you made. But there is no need for the passphrase right now. Can't do much with it until the coin is released.

No worries, the vallue of one lisk is what is important, not how much lisk you have. Would you rather own a thousand coins worth 5 cents each or hundred coins worth 60 cents each ??

And, if you wait for the coin to go live first before accepting your passphrase, you won't do something stupid with it while you wait like I obviously did...  Wink

Sorry if I added any additional confusion...

Undecided it is complicated. I invest 14$ and get 1400 Lisk. It means every 100 Lisk is 1$. but now my Lisks are decreased 1380 but i still have 14$. Now every 100 Lisks valus is 1.01$. It worth up 1%, but my 14$ is still 14$ for now. Sorry but it is not good investment. Good investment is means if you have pre-order for anything, you have absolut value in their own currency. and its worth is going up, your money should be increase. In this situation your invest money's value is same until they sail their boat on Bazaars like Bittrex or Poloniex... Sorry man, i think again until they appears on Bittrex or like as it
