like PRISM, this coin's website domain name registrant is hidden behind WHOISGUARD INC. in Panama.
Why the need to do this?
I think Namecheap has a free whois protection service. If I register a domain, I also take advantage of it. At least it protects against spam, fraudster, phishing, etc. I don't see where the problem is.

the incorporated entity identity and its postal address should be published. that would not weaken protection against spam, phishing, et.c. it's an act of good faith.

the whole ICO process needs to be a little more transparent. not just for Lisk, but for any and all new coins. some basic protocols would help to separate the good from the not so good actors in the space.

There are several different types of Bitcoin clients. The most secure are full nodes like Bitcoin Core, which will follow the rules of the network no matter what miners do. Even if every miner decided to create 1000 bitcoins per block, full nodes would stick to the rules and reject those blocks.

Yes, I just got my office 2 weeks ago and the domain was registered in January. As you can see above there are always some people who just want to damage good effort, and who knows what they might do in the future. Therefore, we hid our private addresses in the domain.

We are in the process to incorporate Lisk as a non-profit company (fingers crossed it will be acknowledged). As soon as this is done we will insert the correct address in the domain registrar. Wink

1 error prohibited your exchange from being started:

Return address is not a valid Crypti address

And the Crypti address is correct

Fill in a Crypti wallet address, not the address on the exchange.

i do but have the same error

do it when you have in same time opened crypty wallet and lisk ico site

ideally the corporate and legal identity and structure and status ought to be in place and published before an ICO goes ahead. thanks for replying.

It can't be done here in Germany so fast (would move the ICO approx 2 month later) and sometimes it is wiser to wait for some feedback from the ICO.

I recommend this NGO, because it save approx. 30% - 50% taxes at the beginning, which should be better invested into the coin. And it shows to all dapp developers some stability, trust and the aim to support the coin for longtime.

After the ICO ends, how long until we have our coins available?

Stratis: Same supply as Ethereum + Masternodes + ICOs + Bitcoin a Core Dev. 90% cheaper than Eth. Do the math.

Do you think guys I need to invest in the IPO, or just wait that this coin will be on some exchanges?

As I see you can bought a lot of coins in half price after the ICO ends, and a lot of people dumped their ICO coins on exchanges.

Up to you, I would do a mix bag.  Invest some now and put in low buy orders just in case you can grab some up cheap.

Nobody knows what will happen after it gets listed on exchanges.

Though I sense it will be much higher due to the number of participants and the MS related news. This coin seems to have a large userbase, thus it will be difficult to fail.

But noone can tell the future.

Ethereum registered their non-profit in Zug, Switzerland and issued an open-call for advisory board selection.

https://blog.ethereum.org/2015/04/10/ethereum-foundation-open-call-re-board-selection/

https://www.ethereum.org/foundation

There's a couple of other interesting non-profit organizations in the cryptocoin space:

http://smartcontracts.foundation/

http://ccrg.org/

iudica, setting up a Lisk Foundation as a non-profit organization is a wonderful start to this effort that will greatly solidify its credibility.  Good move!

I agree and we should spread the word that the ICO is over (when it is over) because the "missing out" feeling creates a powerful dynamic. Also the delay between Lisk distribution and exchanges listing Lisk will help creating a higher demand.
