Come-from-Beyond, I can honestly say that if I were to choose my favorite Bitcointalk user that would be you. In some ways you are a role model for my dzarmush  Smiley

The Bitcoin software, network, and concept is called "Bitcoin" with a capitalized "B". Bitcoin currency units are called "bitcoins" with a lowercase "b" -- this is often abbreviated BTC.

I also agree that this logo isn't the best looking one. It looks like a game currency. I know it is a detail but it has its importance!

Lisk Devs Graphics Department.

PLEASE change the logo, it looks like Bitcrystals. Really horrible  esp compared against Ethereum.

I look at the logo and think this coin must have something to do with mining crystals from the earth.

yes I also think a designer should try to simplify the logo. Too much detail needed...

What!? It looks amazing!  Wink

Yeah, they've stated a re brand will be done but no estimated time yet.

They are currently working on making sure the launch goes as smooth as possible while interviewing for candidates.

Devs said they spent like a $1000 on that ugly logo

That kind of spending, I hope ICO funds would last till next winter

$1000!? Where did you get this info from?

If this were to be true, that's pretty expensive.

The logo is great. You'll understand it when it's on Coindesk.

Great looking is not enough and not even the main point. You explained it yourself. A good logo is simple. This one needs too much detail to be understood...
It should look good on a webpage, it should look good on a t-shirt, it should look good on a pencil, and it should be recognizable with nearly no light. Just look at the ethereum logo... the lines are so clear, that even a nearly blind person can recognize it.

...and how many Lisks is it for 1 BTC at the moment?
14k? Probably end up 10k when all ended
an unreasonable rate of dilution :-) so there's no hard ceiling?
No lol.. I also presumed I would get like 30% profit on the coins but my coin total has gone down 40%
There is coin holding dilution but there is no donation value dilution, and the % profit you get on selling them based on what you spent to buy them will be the same no matter how many coins you finally end up with.

Frankly saying, I don't like associations of the current Lisk logo. Comparing it to Ethereum, it's a crystal too, but unlike Ethereum which looks hi-tech, Lisk's crystal reminds of Stone Age.

Sorry to be rude, but we are idiots in estimating a logo price.

Proof of what exactly? That we accept constructive criticism?

Anyway, sorry we can't please every living soul, but we had to start somewhere.

As previously stated, we will likely rebrand completely, but this will come later.

If you ask me to draw Ethereum logo I won't be able to do it. I remember that it's simple but I don't remember how it looks like. On the other hand Lisk logo is a crystal on a socle.

no. its a blue cristal on a dark grey socle with tons of surfaces. Do you know how many? What do you think can people easier remember. The surfaces of ethereum or the ones of lisk?
And if you change one surface its a different logo... its just any cristal then not the logo any more...

Somone know how become a partner with azure works? I mean did microsoft see an interesting project in lisk o lisk dev contacted them proposing it?
I guess Microsoft made all the researches needed to know what's lisk and what's meant to do. And I guess they've seen the cose too, right?
It's not just an add to azure, just because lisk made a nice ann and marketing.
