1) hiring (soon)
2) finishing mainchain stabilisation
3) work on SDK
4) finishing SDK

There is no time frame. But all can complete in Q1 2017. Just speculate.

Those are the same notes that were actual in summer but since then looks like not much happened, only Lisk became legal entity. I havent logged in here for months and i was curios to see is anything changed.

I cant imagine Max excuse of not hirining ~10 coders in 6 monts, thats just lame.

Im sorry that i got into this project, now my investment is so fucked up that there is no sense in selling, i need to wait for the Max to start hiring and working for real on this project which will need a miracle to happen. Shame on you slow or lazy German.

Totally agree with that!
Because BitBanksy is not a major investor or great javascript developer. He received the delegate place only due to the large lsk premine Max&Oliver.  Grin Community will not vote for him.

The Lisk delegate system is not your faucet.

Also "The Lisk delegate system is not your faucet." too.

Quote
If you think those who are now delegates became that way by accident or luck, you are very wrong. It was and is a lot of hard work, investing a great amount of time and not a small amount of money into the endeavour.
If a man has done a great job for Lisk, he can receive a reward from Lisk bounty fund.

Quote
I agree.

If more pools enter the top 100, this will force other delegates to actually deliver on their promises to stay in the top 100.

I do believe some delegates are true to their words, but the majority will be there for the quick profit and that hold for voting weight simply means "fill my bags further".
You're right. After receiving  place of the delegate most people do nothing. People don't see active work and believe that their work is not worth ~ 148k new forged Lisk per year. They do not want to vote for them.
Or active work, or buying a large amount of Lisk. Should be more competition.

Quote
No it really wouldn't be great. liskpool.com should not run multiple delegates. Vote for any other pool.
LOL It's just funny because Max and Oliver control 40% of the delegates.
People vote for them(20 lisk pool) because these delegates are very favorable conditions for their voters. People bought Lisk for real money, they have every right to vote for them. This is the real democracy and a decentralized system. You can buy a large amount of Lisk on the exchange and to vote for other delegates.

Yes I'm not a developer or a bag holder and I never pretended to be such. However like me, you are more than welcome to join our community, contribute meaningfully by maintaining both testnet & mainnet, create a good delegate proposal and hopefully you may become a forger. All the best for now  Wink

Financial Report 2016

With the successful establishment of the Lisk Foundation in Zug we conclude this year with a Financial Report. Going forward in 2017 we will publish similar reports on a monthly basis.

With the registration of the entity complete, we now open our funds for public inspection.

Well done guys! A nice way to conclude 2016 and open up a new chapter. All the best to LiskHQ & may this new year be full of success!

Im all for what you guys are doing. That's completely fair in my opinion. Just curious, how much did it cost to become a 101 delegate ?

Max the work youre doing here talking with people, retweeting, promoting Lisk on events and similar is good for taking investors money. But since you have already took our money, after 6 months of unsuccessful, slow and lazy tries to hire coders please start hiring coders. You have the money but you dont have time, time is essential in crypto world.

Better that they do everything according to the rules and regulations and make sure their company infrastructure is properly set up than that the shit starts hitting the fan.

All the good stuff was not build in one day, crypto should get used to the fact that development takes time.

Who have not yet voted, please vote for my pool https://liskpool.top

Pool reward 90%
Delegate name: liskpool.top
Rank 134

Happy New Year!

how can i vote?

Logging into your wallet and voting for 'liskpool.top'

Why would he bother running for delegate for 10%, the rest of the freebies 90% given to unknown members who do what with their freecoins. I hope pools don't last but greed will keep them going I suspect.
These unknown members bought lisk for their money and have the right to receive income from forging.

They brought lisk to buy lisk and if they wanted to forge they should have forged themselves. The pools won't last anyway so it is not a problem in the long run, cash in while you can ladies.

Code is the fundamental basis cryptocurrency. This aspect should be given a lot of time and money. PR and rebranding can wait. Otherwise Lisk investors will become old farts when SDK is ready.

Dear Max, people want to see a real smart javascript nerds. You need to find them. Go go go!

If you don't like it, you can buy a large amount of Lisk on the stock exchange and to vote for the other delegates or to persuade the large Lisk holders vote for you.  If a man bought Lisk for real money, he has the right to vote for delegates whom he loves. Should be competition. Cool Or active work for Lisk and getting a lot of respect in the community
or buy a large amount of Lisk on the stock exchange if you want to be a delegate. People will not vote for a lazy ass. Grin

Don't need to to manipulate the market. A cheap Lisk allow you to acquire a large voting power.

...The pools won't last anyway so it is not a problem in the long run...

Correct.

Check the Delegate Explorer at https://explorer.lisk.io/delegateMonitor, then DO THE MATH.

The top tier individual forgers have around 14% approval, or around 14M votes.  The top pools have 17.0 to 17.5% approval, or around 17.5M votes.  It seems reasonable to say that pools have attracted 3.5M votes from Lisk holders wanting to use the pools as a "faucet".

Any delegate, including pools, ideally forge around 85 blocks per day with each block currently yielding a 5 Lisk reward.  That's 85*5 = 425 Lisk per day, or 365*425 = 155,125 Lisk per year.   Every Lisk vote for a pool gets 155,125 / 17,500,000 = 0.0088642 Lisk per year as their "reward".

The annual financial return on ANY Lisk Pool vote is well under 1% per year.

Let's look at the 3.5M votes that pools have apparently attracted over and above baseline delegate voting.  These "faucet hopeful" voters get to split 155,155 / (3.5M/17.5M) = 31,025 Lisk per year among themselves.  At 15 cents per Lisk, the vocal pro-pool posters in this thread are splitting up the equivalent of less than $5000 per year from a pool among themselves.

If YOU are voting "only for pools", how much of this $5000 will YOU get?  Take your Lisk pool vote total, divide it by 3,500,000, and multiply it by 5000.  That final number, in dollars, is how much you are going to make in the next year from the pool you voted for.

Also, the pool rewards go down by 20% per year as the Lisk block reward goes from 5 to 4 to 3 to 2 to 1 Lisk.

You wanna make money?  Do what I did, move your financial assets from Lisk to something like ICONOMI that offers the hope of a financial return much greater than "under 1% from pool payouts".

You want to support a development project with great potential to revolutionize blockchain technology?  Do what I do, run a testnet Lisk node at your own expense, or a mainnet Lisk node even as a Standby Delegate, or maybe soon even run a Lisk sidechain delegate node.  You will spend a lot of money on computer server rentals and you will have to worry about whether your Lisk node is running every single moment of every single day.  But you will be supporting Lisk, and Lisk is worth supporting.

Guys, don't argue about pool voting.  If you want to do it, do it.  Go for a couple of months and ask yourself if you are making what you had hoped.  The answer will be no.  Then move on to the next thing in your crypto journey.  Good luck to you.
