i have heard that bitcoin was used to support terrorists. so many dangerous activities that bitcoin can be used for, and we all can imagine why.

Bitcoin's nature allow itself to be used in any illegal activities you can think of. But it is also true in fiat but the government does not ban the use of fiat. Bitcoin will continue to survive because it is a currency useful to us and many more.
That's right..bitcoin and fiat are both use in illegal activity, the only difference is that fiat is under the control of the governments and banks while bitcoin is not..That difference I think government will surely give protection to fiat than bitcoin... Yes, they will try their most to make sure fiat is protected and not used in illegal activities or counterfeited. But they could ban bitcoin from being used because they have no benefits from bitcoin. |

I think so, the fact that you can make use of Bitcoin without people getting behind your information is of course ideal for cyber criminals. So the answer is yes Bitcoin is sometimes being used for illegal activities.
You are right about that its getting used by criminals but its logical and which currency is not used by criminals right ? I think its not gonna be a real problem in the future. |

Money is used to illegal activities. Does anybody stoped using money because of that?
the reason the government doesnt like bitcoin isnt that. Terrorist, drug dealers etc etc will always find a way to been paid without trace.
The reason is simple, government controls fiat. they are the only one holding the plates to make more and bitcoin isnt hold by anyone(theorecally) and that makes hard to control a few things like inflation.

Anyone who say bitcoin is used to illegal activities should tell that there were no illegal activities before bitcoin was launched?
Its all depends on user how to plan to use it but a specific payment system isn't made to use for illegal activities,many people use cash and many other payment systems for illegal activities.
Agree. It's just that all kinds of money source are options for illegal activities. Because of being a quite anonymoust in bitcoin, some person take this advantage to use it in their illegal activities. If I will do an illegal activity of course I will open and learn all my options to send and receive money to take care of my security. |

Then you have also heard that fiat is being used to finance wars and all other stuff that come with it. Same goes up for diamonds and Gold. They are just a tool with value that anyone can use to do illegal things with. |

to harden the use of illegal , and money laundering

As bitcoin is anonymous the usage in illegal activities were very easy compared to our country currencies. Also there is no taxation problems involved. For these reasons most people use it for illegal activities. There are people who stands out of bitcoin just of its increased illegal usage.

The main reason that my goverment forbid bitcoin usage because bitcoin is a currency that untraceable !
If untraceable, people may use this chance to purchase something illegal like drug ,gun, etc
As bitcoin grown , there are many to try to make bitcoin go down

yeah because it's not physical form that makes it easier bitcoin being misused. using digital money is easier to use and sent to anywhere This will make it easier to carry out illegal activities let alone the nature of the anonymous bitcoin. This makes a lot of people interested in using bitcoin for illegal activities Of course Bitcoin is used by illegal activities and that is because you can easily use Bitcoin as a payment method and that is nice for the currency. But it is also bad but we cant know what will happen with the value of Bitcoin and that is bad. I think the use of bitcoin will not reflect badly on bitcoin? although bitcoin used for illegal activities. it will not change the bitcoin become worse. because someone would not know the purpose of the transaction in bitcoin. people only know out of the bitcoin. they still will not know the purpose of the incoming or outgoing transaction that bitcoin |

I think i heard before that bitcoin is the way for anonymous transactions so i think many illegal activities behind bitcoin.. i saw some tor site from dark web that you can see more illegal sales in darkweb that you can only access using tor.. until now they are using bitcoin as payment not paypal or needs real information before you can deposit.. so they are using bitcoin because they dont need to give real information to deposit and to transact your money to merchant.. also bitmixer can be use to dont traces all transactions..

I think that Bitcoin is being used for illegal activities because of the fact that you can hide your information and stuff. These cyber criminals are making use of this feature so there is not really much you can do to them |

I think that Bitcoin is being used for illegal activities because of the fact that you can hide your information and stuff. These cyber criminals are making use of this feature so there is not really much you can do to them In the future, bitcoin can be regulated, you have to register your bitcoin address with the authority. |
