I see more and more acrticles of bitcoin being used for illegal activities
will this hurt bitcoin in the long run , will governments ban this just like they started to do wih paying in cash for some services
to harden the use of illegal , and money laundering

porn and gambling are illegal in some countries,i also wondering how will goverment reaction if many people use bicoin for that activity,but nything happen with bitcoin,i still trust in bitcoin.

Allot of people are using bitcoins for illegal shit because they cant get caucht by doign it with the bitcoin because they cant trace it and that makes it better for illegal persons to pay things thanks to bitcoin....

That is actually the bad part of bitcoin. They can freely do transactions that cannot be traced. It is not really meant for that but they jusy keep on abusing it for the purpose of making a large amount of money in a faster way.

We will find both types of people in real world some will use it for good and some of them will use it for bad, but the fact is the percentage of using for illegal activities is higher and that creates a negative impression in the minds of people.

For sure since bitcoin is commonly used on deep web or dark net on doing illegal things and it really gives a bad  image to bitcoin but this thing is reality and we  cant do anything about it or  on how to stop it since bitcoin is known for its anonymity thats why its commonly used there.

To be honest i think it is, bitcoin is one of the most ideal currency to do illegal things because its so hard to track it, and the worst thing is some of the people directly judge all of bitcoin user are bad guys, so it has made bitcoin difficult to be developed, and even some people proudly announce that they are using bitcoin for bad things

Yes, I agree with you, bitcoin itself isn’t bad at all and the fact that there are many people use it for illegal things like selling and buying drugs, hiring hit-mans,etc., it happens to other currencies as well.

However, people only see bitcoin with its negative sides although those sides are minor in compare with the benefits of bitcoin. As a result, they think bitcoin users are bad guys too and they don’t want to be like that, which affect bitcoin a lot, so I hope this will change in the future.

Indeed and these scammers are using bitcoins because of the fact that bitcoins are irreversible, so while being irreversible is acting as a bad feature at the same time it has 1000 positive effects because of being irreversible scammers cannot scam innocent too.

i think bitcoin is being used for illegal and legal activities, but i don't really know. bitcoin is like a knife, its good when good people used it, its bad when bad people used it, so its depend how we want to used it. but i think bitcoin itself a good think in our life.

Hell yes, and you all saw that moron trying to sell illegal 'porn' here the other day.  That's the sort of thing that gives bitcoin a black eye, and it's completely undeserved but real.  But dark markets would exist anyway, and they always have, without bitcoin.  I say screw the dark markets.  Won't use them.

the numbers of countries had banned the bitcoin in their countries because pf the illegal activities . here bitcoin is not illegal but many people are uses it as illegally . so many countries are looking to ban it further some countries accepted bitcoin as official best currency .

I am not surprised that a lot of countries that doesn't allow bitcoin to penetrate their country because of this kind of thinking and we can't blame.

Per capita, most people dabble some, play a bit, leave and either never come back or visit infrequently, primary use.....novelty.  Until the past year or three, largest transaction...used to buy and sell illegal items most likely, maybe still holding the record, but many of these sites have and move numbers close to those.

In any countries they have different views regarding  into bitcoin some may adopt  it and some  would banned it because they saw the  threat especially it could be used on illegal transaction but for me if they saw  the  positive side of bitcoin they would surely change their  mind i guess.

Yeah I know that there are some people that make use of Bitcoin in a bad way because there is not much that the police can do.

If you have ever heard about ransomware then you should understand that this virus is illegal because encrypts all your files in your computer and asks for money (bitcoins) to send to the hacker and get the decryption key to decrypt the files.

I know that some people using bitcoin for illegal activity but there are still a lot of people used bitcoin for good purpose. 

Well, on that matter, that is their decision only and actually it is easy to use bitcoin for illegal activity because it is anonymous and easy to spend online. Maybe, they are one of the reason why bitcoin is progressive and in demand nowadays and that is proven by the price increase.

Fuck the media, some of them are just out to poison the mind of the people while protecting the interest of a particular people especially those corrupt ones who are in the government, it is just a bad publicity but if you are a complete believer you will not be affected on that instead you will invest more for your future.
