It's not about pessimism, it can happen or go up. Eth was largely dumped when it was listed on exchanges before going up.

I think there is quite often an initial dump.

Well, ETH was dumped but never touched ICO price... so, IOTA might be dumped from 10x to 2x... but will it be DUMPED to below ICO? Look's less likely every time a new deal is struck at these higher levels. I imagine there are hard core guys out there who won't sell until at least x100. We are constantly setting a higher and higher floor - so "dump" is relative. With this number of holders (not THAT many) and the structuring of this entity as something that is looking for functionality outside of BTT and pump and dumpers, there is a possible scenario for MASSIVE gains if everyone waits patiently for more good news and applications.

You won't receive them until the crowdsale participant receives theirs, and sends them to you. So you have to trust in them to do that.

Then, you will have possession of the actual tokens, at which point you can sell them right away in a private sale, or you can wait for beta to finish, and sell them at an exchange.

I hope this answers your "redeem" question.

I would suggest holding the tokens, and becoming an active community member that helps Iota grow.
