It's seriously starting to piss me off how every criticism is instantly labelled "FUD" by the hodlers. Dev team is acting like a bunch of alcoholics who act like everything is under control and yet can't keep a single promise. Somehow we need to give them a reality check so they would man up and start delivering.

Only reason I'm not selling my whole stash is because rich list is not selling for some reason. Any opinions on that? Could all of this be orchestrated so the informed parties can fill up their bags? I would think at least some of the XVG whales would be selling some after todays embarassment.

Because 90% of criticism lately has been FUD. You're obviously new to crypto, what you and the other 90% of people that got into crypto last week need to realise is that this is not regulated like any other investment. Its treated like the stock market but think back to the Wolf of wall street days but without any regulation or the risk of jail time. Even Jordan Belfort said it himself along the lines of "these crypto guys are making millions by doing what I got sent to jail for! If this was around in my time I would've made BILLIONS!". It rose hard and consistently for a few weeks and people now think that is the norm? All good things come to an end and we're entering a period where the road will be rocky, there will be big ups and downs, hint: that's how the whales increase their share, this is how Jordan Belfort made his millions.

Show me the impeccable professionalism in any of the other coins we're all invested in, you can probably count them on one hand. Show me the other coins that have made promises and have grand visions but are even close to having a product with any of their claims actually functional, once again you could probably count them on one hand. Think, why aren't the whales selling? Do you think they became whales by panic selling at every hurdle or do you think they held and bought up when pussies sold in fear because they picked an investment they believed in? If you don't believe in Verge that's fine, I couldn't care less, but this applies to all coins; use your head and look long term when making decisions in this unregulated wild west of crypto instead of spur of the moment choices based on emotions or you'll lose every time. If you don't believe in Verge now then go invest in another coin, this one obviously wasn't for you, but you still need to learn a lot or you'll be frustrated with every other coin you choose, they all have their troubles in one way or another.

Regarding whales, you were on the right track in your second last sentence but threw yourself off again in your last sentence.

Don't worry, I did not mean that as a reply to your post. We pretty much posted at the same time lol. I was just saying that for the past week or two there has been an influx of ridiculous comments here. Asking valid questions or writing a constructive criticism is fine in my opinion.

Getting something new information about the xvg Wraith on OSX is released and working. Windows/Linux versions take longer than expected. They understand our feelings, but their priority is to release fully working software that provides security and anonymity. Other platforms will be released asap.

I mean, using wraights stealth mode owners should be able to sell off their coins without it being visible on blockchain? Will the rich list balances remain the same if some of them sell coins using stealth mode?

I am actually glad someone else noticed the top 20 wallets haven't done bugger all yet.... although number 1 is still collecting verge and i do not think its an exchange wallet. The amount does not fluctuate that much for it to be one. Thats just my thoughts there.....
Also notice on bittrex the buy support keeps getting pumped back in, keeps going over 1k btc buy support after every heavy dump by weak hands. Also food for thought with your theory of this all being setup, just think back to that massive manipulation attack verge went through less then a week ago..... kinda seeing the exact same behavior in the markets again... someone is soaking up alot of sells and sell walls are getting smashed pretty quickly. Despite the rough start i do not feel that it is over just yet.

And trust me this here isn't all that savage, the amount of abuse i have been reading flying around crypto groups on facebook has been horrid and toxic beyond belief... Its actually like a chilled meadow breeze here compared to everywhere else thanks to the haters and high buyers that wanted fast profit but got burnt hard. To much emotional trading tsk tsk tsk....

If you don't like a coin or don't believe in a project, why would you take the time to participate in a discussion between the supporters of that project? You have nothing better to do?
Some moderating would be in place here. WHo wants to read some teenagers calling eachother idiotes and contribute nothing to the discussion aimed at informing and help eachother.
Sure you have money on some competing coin and want to bash this coin, but in this way you just make yourself look bad.

You can say a lot about verge , but one thing is for sure. almost all people who bought verge did not make a loss on this project and many have made huge amounts in the last months. if it would keep the same rate of growth everybody would be a millionare, just like the people who bought it a few months back.
If you bought this coin earlier this year , you could retire. I don't think that's a thing anybody should forget just because of a few tiney dips and corresponding highs in the last week or so.

Probably today till tomorrow something similar can happen again and it might come back to its recent basepoint of 0.12/ 0.14 cts.
Some of us think it will take of soon to much higher levels, its historical charts and the project makes this a very plausible thing. how high nobody knows. 0.5 would be already great. there is a huge amount of money coming into crypto in the next months, many have bee advised not to invest in the holiday period, those people may come in in the next weeks and the top 100 coins are the ones these new investors will look at and many will chose the lower priced coins like verge/rdd/trx ada etc. in this segment of the market verge has the best papers.

Good luck to you all of  whatever way you chose to invest yourmoney, but lease keep it civilised .

Is there a way to withdraw all my verge from bittrex verge wallet to binance verge wallet?

I am a enhanced user in bittrex , so withdrawal limit does not apply

As i am not able to sell my verge in bittrex and (have no idea why it keeps showing "0" verge while selling but when I am about to withdraw it shows all my 9k verge) and also binance is more easy with regards to complaince I have heard

But in the event u withdraw from bittrex to binance verge wallet will you loose some of the verge as fees?

Easy peezy pumpkin pie. Get Verge address from Binance. Perform withdrawal on Bittrex and use Binance wallet address for the send to address. Voila, Bittrex will send your coins to Binance.

Yes I did that now, as a test i sent 5 verges from bittrex to binance verge wallet, although bittrex says deposit completed, binance is not showing anything like if the deposit is pending etc, it says no deposit history

Number 1-3 wallets are exchanges in 99% of the cases. They use cold wallets and have a % in hot wallets. You won't see huge daily/hourly changes in cold wallets, that's why hot wallets exist.

I don't think it really hides, obfuscates the tx like Monero or another good privacy coin does. Think it just toggles on TOR as you said. Not worth the ones and zeroes it is coded with. Forensic blockchain analysis could still track coins and identify senders and receivers.

XVG behaved like expected. A little pump before the announced release followed by a crash. It was the same when Wraith was announced last time. Most people know that they won't make their deadlines (and yes, there was a deadline this time, too - dev announced it on twitter) so you make money out of the hype and get your money before people realize the devs screwed up again.

I love Verge and I will always own Verge. But I know that the dev team might doesn't have enough experience to properly release software with testing and everything. Yesterday some dev posted on twitter, that windows is already working and all is good. Today they say windows does not work. For me as a dev it is easy to see that they are doing their best, but there is a lack of experience and release management. However, that's no problem, you learn everytime you fail. Failing is a part of success.
