why do I keep seeing 0 connections on the wallet. Trying to re download the entire chain to resync wallet after the issues I was having. Cant sync with no connections.

update.. ok, now 1 connection, then goes to 0 again. How is there only 1 connection at most...

So one thing that screwed me up was I downloaded the wrong blockchain.  Make sure you download 3.0 if you are using Verge-QT 3.0.  I had to replace it with the real deal one and let it resync up and it took at least 24 hours before I was able to solo mine on the wallet.  Still waiting to find a block only been about a day though.  Although thanks to whoever posted unimining.com in here I now have some XVG from mining that pool last night.  Anyways the key with this wallet is patience.  It takes a long time to sync the wallet and blockchain even when you download it.  When I close the wallet down it takes 15 minutes for it to Load the Block Index every time so I just keep it mining open all day.

As nice as whatever Verge is implementing may be, it started as a coin called dogecoindark which wasn't portrayed as a particularly relevant project. Any coin could implement these things. I cannot personally throw too much support behind it for that reason.

I have some from low prices, mined a little too, but I have a hard time supporting this price action and mentality of worshiping John McAfee... cool as he may be.
