It is possible for me but i am thinking if it will reach that 3k satoshi for sure in the future it will reach $1 with also the high value in dollars. I am not holding xvg anymore maybe i will catch some again after that said news. Anything is possible in xvg what more now that it has an active teams.
USD 1 won't going to happen, never ever after that deal. Some can turn it as they want, just impossible now. The only 1+ USD chance would have been Paypal, Amazon, Ebay, something in that tier and category. Just having adds now on every pornsite doesn't make it USD 1 automaticly for sure. I'am allready beginning to realize that this will cause mega problems with ASACP, which someone should not underestiminate in its power. If minors is granted access to pornsites through verge than the Verge team has allready 1 foot in jail .... You are kidding right? All the "moral" comments here are worthless. Verge is a business, Pornhub is a business and a VERY successful one. This "partnership" or whatever it is will benefit both Pornhub and XVG investors. It's a big, bad world out here people, not everyone has morals or, admits to it. This will increase XVG volume by many factors moral or not. Business is business. For sure it will benefit mindgeek, taking 75M for some advertising from Verge is a perfect deal for some. For the Verge Investors and Crowdfund Donators this is pure horror. And by the way, its not that much about moral, bypassing age verification is about law. I doubt this will work out at this stage of crypto, seriously. Of course, everybody is free to dream on and see something good at the bad thing, no problem here. But price sooner as soon will bring you back to reality..... |

is there any official announcement yet? no access to news/update, all i can see is the downward movement of verge in both cryptopia and binance. I guess it's bad news. hu!hu!hu!
There is press release form pornhub but it have some odd spelling mistake (nAtaku not nUtaku) and I don't see anywhere on brazzers/nutaku info about verge. |

On their twitter account they announced that pornhub has now started to accept verge coin and their payment for their business. They did not said that pornhub is now partner. It means that not only pornhub but actually mindgeek will be the partner of verge currency as the owner of pornhub is mindgeek. Now as it is clear that mindgeek will be the partner of vergecurrency so it means that the following bigger platforms are also going to adopt verge because they all are owned and operated by mindgeek: pornhub. Actually, volume is up and the price has been falling somewhat since 0300 this morning right along with BTC. Wait a day and figure BTC prices in before your next prediction. While I definitely agree with the legalities you mentioned here and your previous post, 3rd party integration with age verification systems will be key. This still does not hamper Verge rise (no pun intended) on porn sites or for whatever reason. The burden of proof/verification falls on the merchant/service etc etc, not Verge, as it should be. I also know there will be some resistance from those opposed to porn and other forms of entertainment, but again - with Verge being a key asset traded it still makes XVG, well an asset - regardless of what it's used for. Agreed as well. However, as soon as you have again age verification, you have lost the privacy factor. Age Verification just excludes privacy, easy as that. While i agree that it falls into the merchant service the outcome could be either Mindgeek drops Verge when threatend by the authorities and or Verge has to face some legal responsibility as well. I would not exclude the later having in mind that many authorities just search for a piece to attack crypto. This is very very very hot and dangerous play. Seriously ASCAP has huge influence when it comes to protecting childs and minors, no fun there. Lets see if the other so called partner is mindgeek and verge is just its client paying for advertising or if its something else. Age verification alone doesn't destroy privacy. If you prove via a zeroknowledge proof that you are old enough it would be fine. |

I posted about mindgeek being the partner allready 13 hours ago, but you XVG are that fantatic that you dismissed everything if it didn't include the words "paypal, amazon, ebay" Did you actually allready try to pay with Verge, just curious if it works. I do not have any left, but you holders for sure have. I'am pesemistic that Verge for membership will work, its all about how they manage to compile age verification with a privacy coin. If this is not managed to happen than this partnership will be a short one.
