Well, i think it is not that easy. We talked about the law regulations already. In most countries, you will have to verify your age. But there are other possibilities to do that, then using your credit card. So in the end, yes, you dont have to provide your credit card information.

Well, isnt that exactly the problem of cryptocurrencies right now? Only 3% uses it. Do you know why? Because you cant really do anything with it right now... No idea if you like porn or not. But fact is, now you can pay for porn with it. This is a real use case for cryptocurrency. And this is a good thing. And do you know, how many people watch porns?

It seems that exactly these facts, a lot of people here dont understand. It's hard to make a comparison to XRP. They have all the infrastructure that works in favor of banks. In other words they help an industry facilitate transactions, which want to remain in control of the system. They would help XRP reach high value rather than any other coin.

Ok, took the time to relax a bit and think about the whole story. Let's try to sort it out absolutly unbiased and objective:

- the adoption to the mindgeek payment system isn't too bad. I have hoped for a better decision, but why not. Someone will take take that niche anyway, now its Verge, why not.

- while this partnership will close mostly a lot of doors, it will eventually open some, gambling sites come into my mind immediatly as the next most logical.

- IF paying for memberships on these tube sites will be a deal, we don't know without numbers. On one hand there is sooo much free content around that memberships must have decreased a lot the last decade, on the other side these tube sites have huge traffic, no doubt about it.

- For us users of crypto handling crypto currency is nowadays easy, but even many of use struggle with wallets and whatever not, what's left for the average Joe? This is a little problem while dealing with Crypto for sure.

- The paid advertising campaign is in my opinion a bad deal. But than again, seems its a fact by now, nothing can be changed, and maybe it will indeed help making Verge popular among many. This money, or a big part of it should have been used for further improvement/developement, staff. It's a bad deal that might drive away investors eventually in future. But ok, lets hope at least XVG gains in popularity.

- IF the age verification can be implented somehow so authorities do not see at as eventually bypassing it, it would be good, it's even a must in my opinion. No idea how this can be easy be done so it's more easy for the average Joe than type in his card number and verification code .... We will see how this gets handled, but its important in my opinion.

- Authorities of all kind now. With this deal i'am pretty sure some authorities will closely watch Verge now. I hope all their books are done correctly, someone for sure is coming to check here and there some things.

- Possible Problem? No idea how Verge is handled now by the US SEC and others. After you can pay now with it, does it need some kind of license , is it liable to other financial laws or regulations now? And if yes, can the Verge team deal with it? I'am not from the US, so others that are into law there can answer this maybe?!

- What is the whole deal. Ok, we know Verge is accepted now on the mindgeek network or for now part of it. But what is the deal for Verge beside that? Are they getting commisions for each payment? Is it a trial only or long term? Can Verge be brought to it from "outside" or is it like "B2X" on hitbtc in the meaning you can buy and trade it but neither transfer it in or out. How is/will XVG exchanged/converted there at mindgeek? Does the deal include cam sites too? The list here is endless of important points .....

- Is the Verge Team strong and good enough to handle that additionally work? New staff?

- Are there any Exit terms for mindgeek, in the meaning can they break the contract under given circumstances?

- Is the majority of the Verge community supporting this move? I think its important how the backbone of a given coin reacts to such moves, especially at Verge with the huge younger community. In case the majtority supports it, good of course.

- Volatility, how will this affect the payment gate there at mindgeek. I mean it can be today 10 cent, tomorrow 1 and next day 20, it's not that its like the USDT. Could this be a problem?

There are more points that need some attention, just wrote some that came into my mind.

Having said this, it could be indeed a not that bad deal at all to be honest. BUT its all about how the verge team handles things now, what the exact terms are and how this will get adopted by the porn community at all.

Personally i think its a bad deal with a good chance of eventually improvement to make it a good deal.
