Sorry there appears to have been a silly oversight, the Linux build instructions for the masternode daemon points to the V1 repo and should be: BUILD LINUX 1) git clone https://github.com/bryceweiner/mojocoin.git mojocoin 2) cd mojocoin/src 3) sudo make -f makefile.unix # Headless mojocoin (optional) 4) strip mojocoind 5) sudo cp mojocoind /usr/local/bin so try this to build the daemon for the MN

The Bitcoin network protocol was designed to be extremely flexible. It can be used to create timed transactions, escrow transactions, multi-signature transactions, etc. The current features of the client only hint at what will be possible in the future.

Compiled with minor "defined but not used errors" using make -f makefile.unix USE_UPNP=- i'll move coins to it to kick a MN and see how that goes.. notes: 1) V2 needs "mojocoin.conf" while V1 was "Mojocoin.conf" 2) I had to add the nodes i caught in my windows wallet to mojocoin.conf for it to start sync

This will happen as soon as we have the masternodes and staking up.

Hi all,
currently there is work done at the mojocoin daemon - looks like there is a problem with the masternode code.
I'm in contact with ebk1000 and my trust raised because for me it looks like he really like to get the coin going and is investing time and money in the coin.
Stay tuned for some updated code in the next days - masternodes should be running than
HINT: collateral is 200.000 cons than .
Now hurry and get the coins as long as they are cheap enough to build up your stake for running a masternode !
If I get any news I will keep you up to date ..
regards

Manual swap from MOJO V1 to V2 is now open, sorry about the delay. If you have old MOJO V1 coins that you did not manage to swap for V2 coins, then PM me with the amount. I know you may have sent a PM before but I get so many so that they may be lost sometimes. If you PM me with the amount you wanna swap and I'll give you a V1 address to send to.
I guess that if you haven't swapped you're still running the V1 client (unless you are running both). So keep running the V1 client until you have sent me your V1 coins. Then download the V2 and PM me your V2 address and I'll get you your coins ASAP back to you.
Any questions about this?
The Presstab block explorer is still on the V1 chain so you can see your transactions there. It suggests that the total supply of V1 is 100,134,831 MOJO and we have exchanged 93,348,328 MOJO so there may still be around 6,786,503 MOJOV1 floating around somewhere.
I will keep this open for 2-3 weeks and I know there are still V1 nodes running. so PM me and I'll deal as soon as I can.

I have said quite clearly NOT TO USE YoBit as an exchange as they are unable / unwilling to communicate. They have been contacted but they do not respond to anything. I do not know if they run V1 or V2.

MOJOcoin July updateAfter a few ‘ticks’ and unforeseen circumstances we have now finally moved to a new blockchain and converted the vast majority of the V1 coins to V2 coins with the help of Livecoin.net. The swap went well, it just took a bit longer than expected to get the chain moving and open for withdrawals. It now appears that most users have managed to withdraw their coins and the chain is moving along. We now have working Windows-qt and Mac-qt wallets for MOJO V2. There are a few minor issues with the masternode system that was identified by Bitcointalk user ‘Hagie’ and that are now being adjusted. The collateral for a MN will be 200,000 MOJO. So, although the current wallets are fine, we will have to push new wallets once the MN adjustments have been done. At the moment nobody is able to stake unless a MN is running. We are currently running a private network to explore this issue and to consider options. We currently suggest that you trade MOJOcoin at Livecoin.net and DO NOT use YoBit to trade as they are unable to communicate and I do not know if they run MOJO V1 or MOJO V2. Once the updated source code is completed we will push this to a fresh MOJO V2 repo and work from there for further development. I know that some people did not manage to swap their MOJO V1 for V2 and may still hold some V1 coins. It is now possible to do a manual swap by either PM me at Bitcointalk or e-mail: team@mojocoin.org. We will swap 1:1 MOJO V1 for V2 coins. The main aim right now is to get the masternodes up and running and get a stable network. I have still not been able to update the website properly or the OP at BCT but I am working to get everything up to date. As for the future, MOJOcoin aims to be a totally anonymous value transfer system, i.e. a cryptocurrency with untraceable and anonymous transactions. This may sound similar to other coins but we have some plans to make us different.
