Oh well the good ol days were pretty terrible to be honest. I was massive confused, just going from place to place trying to understand how the whole thing worked. A lot of reading and confusion and a lot of getting nowhere, I just knew there was something special about this and that I should keep paying attention. After time I started learning why Bitcoin is insanely important and why anyone that wasn't holding at least 1 is simply crazy. I started putting a lot of time into it and now im proud of my small stack of BTC that I will hold long time.

All I knew when I first started is that I should get in and that it was a great innovation.  At the time it was high 200's and I was a bit nervous since all I knew were two things:
-the mt. gox scandal
-and the amazing capabilities btc has to change the world financially at least

I decided that I want to support this concept of banking the unbanked and smooth easy financial transactions and hesitantly bought a few.

Of course after buying, the frenzy of research started and I learned so much more.  This forum was fantastic for beginner knowledge.

I love Bitcoin

Initially I found it complicated but once I got used to it, I found it very simple and the best when it comes to online transfers, which involves minimal transaction fees.

When i first started, i didn't have the knowledge of it much and was happy to get few satoshi from faucets sites and thought this was the only method to earn bitcoins. but as time has passed, i become to know that faucets is a way too slow to earn coins.

my first experience was good since i didn't find out about bitcoin on my own. a friend of mine introduced me to bitcoin and i have learned everything there is from him. but at first i started using faucets which was fun but boring at the same time because the payment was terrible. but in time i learned more about other ways of earning bitcoin and gave up faucets.

Weak hands have been complaining about missing out ever since bitcoin was $1 and never buy the dip.
Whales are those who keep buying the dip.

I read several months about Bitcoin before I decided to get a bit and try it out.
So I informend myself pretty well I think which wallet I would like to use and how and where to get some Bitcoin.
Therefore my first experience had been pretty good.

In the beginning you start out small... buying only a few bits worth of Bitcoin, to just get the feel of it. There are so many scams out there and you not sure what wallet service provider or method is

safe to store your coins. You start asking questions and reading up on the subject and sorting the bad from the good, until you find your way through this minefield of information. The trading into other

Alt coins comes eventually as you realize that profits could be made, not just from Bitcoin.... but in the end, most of it comes back to Bitcoin again. {more merchants and people accept it}  Grin

Damn bro what were you doing? You could have earned a lot more working a day job.

@ontopic Most of the people replying here got them from faucets. Me I was first hooked with alts way back in 2014. There were a lot of giveaways in the altcoin universe back then. Got my first btc by trading those alts.

I was not aware about how people earn and the way bitcoin is working for all when I started with bitcoins.
I used to go through YouTube videos related with bitcoin and how the transaction methods are carried out.
Besides when hacing some work done with some projects in bitcoin site making etc. that helped me to learn better and to understand about bitcoins much fine.

Most people who uses faucet are the one who are looking for extra income from home then it lead them to bitcoin.
Faucet is a good thing and it help to add more users to bitcoin.

I first heard about Bitcoin from friend.
I was skeptic and neglect his invitation.
A year or two after that, when I heard how much value of Bitcoin increased, I realized I should learn more about Bitcoin and understand what is all about.
I find this forum and find all needed info here including some good ways to earn free bitcoin.
Still learning Smiley
