calm down boys and girls.... as of block 28810 there are 14405500 XCT in circulation....

doing simple math...

if XCT price is 100 satoshi BTC0.000001  = BTC14.40550000
if XCT price is 1000 satoshi BTC0.00001  = BTC144.05500000
if XCT price is 2000 satoshi BTC0.00002  = BTC288.1100000

...

if XCT price is 10000 satoshi BTC0.0001  = BTC1440.5500000

So lets chill out a bit... if we have a total supply worth around BTC100/BTC200 i think is fair... and realistic...

Smiley

yea i agree I dont feel 1000 or 2000sats are too far fetched

Well not sure where the 1PH/s was coming from, but apparently XCT has captured someones interest. Or someone just decided to drop a nice slice of BTC on Nicehash and grab their stash before the difficulty is 100million+

Multiply your thinking by 1/10
Remember that XCT is 1/10 of Bitcoin.
( 21 Million Bitcoin coins vs 210 Million XCT coins )
So, if Bitcoin is at $ 400, XCT should trades at $ 40
that's the general idea. I think that you are not taking
into account the difference between the two coins.
(1) XCT = (1/10) BTC
(10) XCT = (1) BTC

Ok, I see where you're coming from.
You're talking satoshi, where I'm talking
theoretical. We both end up in the same
spot price-wise in the end ( equality on a
1/10 basis ). I believe that C-bit ends up
with the same hash-rate as Bitcoin, but
will grow in the meantime at a rate
exponentially faster.

should be just apt-get install autoconf

https://github.com/c-bit/c-bit/tree/master/build-aux/m4
that directory is there, so its either you're just missing autoconf, or theres a permissions error, because you have bitcoin on your exchange and the compilation of c-bit was identical to bitcoin for me. it's built from 0.12

Going to step in here and say this, someone has to... 3 years ago your 1/10 ratio would work and this coin would be on every exchange already. But today, the market is saturated and its not easily sifted through. You need to be big on development, and PR to be seen. Sitting in the forum and bragging the future price of your own coin sounds like hopes and dreams that could be put into dev and marketing. I enjoy your enthusiasm, and i'm not trying to put you or the coin down. I am interested personally in this project.
But for me, and other crypto investors/traders. We like to see innovation, ideas, enthusiasm, white paper, roadmaps, dev bios, etc...
You want that 1/10 ratio with btc?? Then put that enthusiasm to work, and don't pump something which has no floor.

do you have the c-bit/build-aux/m4 directory from the git clone?

what os are you compiling on?

try:
./autogen.sh

CFLAGS="-O2 -Wall" ./configure

make

if that doesnt do it try:
chmod +x autogen.sh && cd share/ && chmod +x genbuild.sh && cd .. && cd src/leveldb && chmod +x build_detect_platform && cd ../.. && ./autogen.sh &&  ./configure && make

and if that works, it was a permission error.

Debian.

Yes the directory and its contents cloned from git and exist.

Setting permissions on the files and directories doesn't help either.

./autogen.sh
aclocal: couldn't open directory 'build-aux/m4': No such file or directory
autoreconf: aclocal failed with exit status: 1

aclocal: couldn't open directory 'build-aux/m4': No such file or directory

i just cloned it and did a chmod 755 ~/c-bit/* and it worked.. hmm.. maybe try compiling a fresh autoconf?

Code:
sudo apt-get install build-essential libtool autotools-dev automake pkg-config libssl-dev libevent-dev bsdmainutils libboost-system-dev libboost-filesystem-dev libboost-chrono-dev libboost-program-options-dev libboost-test-dev libboost-thread-dev libboost-all-dev

you have all the dependencies? if your making a qt/gui wallet you'll also need:
Code:
sudo apt-get install libqt5gui5 libqt5core5a libqt5dbus5 qttools5-dev qttools5-dev-tools libprotobuf-dev protobuf-compiler

You have an error in your SQL syntax; check the manual that corresponds to your MySQL server version for the right syntax to use near 'WHERE name = 'C-Bit'' at line 116

cant selected the boxes... and if i hit the "vote" button it gives that error

Ah ok, that appears when you don't have an option selected. I'll fix that as soon as possible.

To select an up or down vote you just have to click the thumb image and it will select it.

Update - It should no longer give that error if an option isn't selected.
