A quick update this morning to everyone.

We have received an additional donation of 20 k c-bit to the development team from someone who has donated once already, thank you.

We have our domain registered and I am working on the first content around my day job duties.  Our first content will be a repeat of many materials on the original C-Bit site as they are very good and informative.  We will be creating and adding original content soon.

We have our first development team member other than myself.  Anyone interest in joining our team please message me.  I will be publishing a list of our members user names in the futre with thier approval, some may choose to remain anonymous.

I am working to get a SLACK application up and running for our dev team to communicate and work together conveniently.

I am seeking people to operate nodes and perhaps a private mining pool incase the official pools were to ever go down for any reason.

Please feel free to make suggestions or join our team.

Thank you

Good to see some activity on C-Bit. I was pretty disappointed when the devs took off here. For no good reason too. Must have been demoralized when the price crashed.

Guys its ok.  Bank_sy isn't even being that critical but he could stop repeating himself at this point because I don't think a satisfactory explanation as to why he should change his mind is going to pop up, nor is it necessary for you guys to come up with one.  You should realize though that from outside perspective he really just wants to find a reason to get involved with your coin and to see it degrade into a sort of argument is probably just because of the forum format, anonymity, etc.  So chill on that.  Maybe a better explanation of some of the whitepaper things will come in the future.

Now someone answer my question above about the bravo pool please  Grin

Not 100% accurate but well said.
As jookly said, I am not even being that critical.
In a nut shell I am simply trying to tell everyone this simple reality:
For an altcoin to succeed it needs appeal.
If the only appeal in C-bit is 2MB supply then it is not enough for success.
From what I can see, 2MB blocks that appears to be the only 'innovation' offered by C-bit and I do not think that counts as innovation.

Told you so!

Thank you for your posts and concern with C-Bit lack of unique and innovative features.  I understand what you are saying and would like to ask you to provide constructive feedback.

What type of innovative features would you like to see developed and implimented in the future.  If additional development is to be accomplished we need to decide what these feature will be and methods of accomplishing this task.

Let's move forward in a positive direction with additional deployment and development of C-Bit.

I have a new dedicated domain for hosting all the needed download files for C-Bit and will be offering other hosting opportunities and services with and for C-Bit.  I hope to have this up live soon.

Our Mission is simple; revitalization of C-bit development. We are not reinventing the wheel, the hard work has already begun, unfortunately, however the previous development team has been silent and seemingly inactive.  It is our hope that by endeavoring on this project it will reinvigorate and revitalize those that started the work.  If that is not the case, however, we will continue to develop C-bit into the coin it was meant to be.

Some may wonder why the need for C-bit. C-bit is the only crypto coin that is based on the same platform as Bitcoin. In fact C-bit is an exact replica of Bitcoin Core 0.12.0. All updates, patches, fixes, and new technologies added to Bitcoin Core are added to C-bit as they occur. Any software, platform, or technology that is designed to work with Bitcoin Core can work with C-bit. The family tree is the same, so conflicts are eliminated when coding is concerned.  In fact, communication between the Bitcoin Core and C-bit block-chains is possible, unlike other currencies or block-chains which do not share the identical source code with Bitcoin. It is not intended to replace Bitcoin rather to solve a potential problem that some in the community have become concerned about, namely, the size of the block chain. C-bit has a 2 meg block size already built into the source code (unlike Bitcoin Core’s 1 meg block size), and C-bit has 210 million coins (as opposed to Bitcoin’s 21 million). 10 times the coins means a 1/10 valuation against Bitcoin; thus, C-bit is the “pocket change” to Bitcoin.

This team is dedicated to the advancement of C-bit on several fronts.  We currently have a least 2 separate independent nodes running to encourage the use of C-bit, and we are active miners of the coin.
Where we go from here is up. We need more miners of the coin, now is the perfect time to get involved in mining. C-bit is still in its infancy but has two distinct advantages over where Bitcoin was at this stage of development. First, no one has to explain what cryptocurrency is and the benefits of it; Bitcoin has already paved that road. Second, as stated before, C-bit does not replace Bitcoin, rather seeks to enhance performance. Allowing us to “dance with the one that brung ya” so to speak, think of C-bit as the “small bills” and Bitcoin as the “large bills” and it becomes clear we have nowhere to go but up from here.  We are actively seeking others that want to help with development. We need more miners as mentioned above, we need people that can explain the benefit to merchants and bring them on board. We need more people to run various nodes to increase the legitimacy of the coin. We need positive press.
If you  feel you have a talent that will help or just want to be involved, please contact us.

OK Had this problem before on New York. Never got the coins for over 100 blocks. When I would check Crypto Block Explorers. The Value Out 500 would  open the block and only 2 payout address, my address was not there! Now I'm having the same problem on bravo.btc-bit.com

Ladies and Gentlemen, I am glad to hear that payment are indeed being received in payout from the Bravo c-Bit pool.  But, this is issue of payouts brings a major point and issue to our attention.

I nor do any of our active forum members do not have any control over these "official" C-Bit mining pools, we really needs a couple of volunteers to step up and open an independent C-Bit mining pool.  If the original developers choose to shut down our stop paying the hosting bill for the pools we currently mine on we have a problem.  I hope this does not happen befroe we can develop another option, but i can not guarantee this as a fact.

If we want to open another official mining pool, we will need the funding to do so.  I am already personally funding several hosting application for c-Bit development.

Thank you

We need to start a new mining pool ASAP, two of the C-Bit pools are now down!  We also need more mining power to hash the network.

What happened to Mr Marten?

T o be honest, we do not know what happened to Mr. Maten.  We hope he is okay and doing fine.  But many of us want C-Bit to continue to exist as a coin and develop further and that is why we have begin to take action and for a independent C-Bit Development Team.

If the original team is still active or becomes active again, we will gladly coordinate our efforts with them.
