People just need to take account for their own actions, calling it a sickness is like saying it wasn't my fault it was the illness or condition i have, just another way of passing the blame i say.

Even you said treating gambling as a hobby but  theres still a bad thing since everytime you gamble  theres a money involved even if you said you only bet  small amount but you play everyday and keep lossing then those  amount would be pile up and would be a huge amount which is a really bad thing in doing gambling.

yes i thing is not sickness, but addiction. sickness and addiction is difference. once people win in over than 5 times in a big win, then he/she will thinking, maybe this day is my luck and i should play more to win some money. if this is in our head, then we should stop, but if we addicted in gambling, then we continue to play in all day long, no matter if we win or we lost.

Gambling addiction is so risky, many gamblers get addicted fast because they hope everytime to become rich and wealthy with gambling even if they lose many times.

Addiction of anything has no cure because it become our habit and we are not ready to give up this one easily, so that is big problem which make our life so complicated and that is why so many people still losing more and more with hope to get back their lost amount there.

Addictions have cure, but it requires a lot of willpower, work, attention from family and friends, good circumstances and so on. Most addicted people have other problems, which prevents them from escaping their addictions, since they are always depressed.

I think majority of the addicts are those who enjoyed gambling first until they cannot control their emotions anymore when they become addicted. I believe it is not the problem in life alone are the reason of being addicted but with our will to make money easily because of our desperation to experience a comfortable life.

Yeah, indeed gambling will provide tremendous impact badly, but it will not happen if indeed we can fortify themselves with a very strong self control. If we lose one puzzle in the fortress it will destroy everything and will eventually experience severe addiction and ruin your life
