Well maybe some other thinks happened but we didn't see it because of the worst broadcast.

The only exiciting part in between was the fight between Hamilton, Vettel and Gasly and then we got some pictures of Stroll going on some curbs.

Well, that has been on the news since the race, it has been a funny meme compilation as well. Everyone is doing like major history stuff and then BAM STROLL lol. That Vettel pass was one of the most important thing that happened in that race, basically the only thing that happened and they still ended up not showing that, not even a replay, it is very weird.

People saw it from replays on the F1 broadcast on the website (where you can see from others point of view) and they checked it from Hamilton and he was looking at directly to the situation and shared that online so we could see it. Monaco is known to be a very boring race anyway, the pole position is basically what the race ends up to be, if Charles didn't end up crashing and then not have the gear box problem that would have ended with him at the first place of the race as well.

Yes, I wish they'd drop Monaco, and replace it with a different track if necessary.
If they really want to keep Monaco, then try doing something different with it... You get 25 points for taking pole at Monaco on Saturday, and then participating in a meaningless 2 hour procession on the Sunday. Why not just say you get 5 points for taking pole in qualifying, 4 for second, down to 1 point for fifth. Or have a variety of races, all as individual time trials... maybe everyone could do individual five lap timed runs, and get points depending on your placing there (obviously track conditions would vary by racer, but running order could be determined by the initial single lap qualifying run).
They just need to try something different there. I think individual time trials of however many laps would be an improvement on what we have now.

Well it's great to see they race through the streets but it's just a big parade because you cant overtake. Last years we saw some overtakes from Verstappen but he was driver at the front so the only driver who did some overtakes there didnt had to do so.

Skipping the race would be historical wise a disaster. But as you said maybe they should change some here for sure.

Now we are going to race in Baku a track where cars not that fast will have a lot of difficulty performing well.I think the win will be disputed between Mercedes and Redbull only in this track as all other cars are a bit behind in pace in tracks where engine power can make a difference.I doubt Ferrari will perform well here,this track at the beginning did not offer many overtakes but with the passing of the years many drivers have found a few spots where overtaking is easy so this is going to be a much better race than Monaco.

I believe Baku will be one of the best places for Red Bull to end up with another win. Street places with walls on the side is where Red Bull shines, we all know that, they do not have the engine power to beat them in places like Bahrain, but in places like Baku where there are walls instead of just roadlines basically, Red Bull could actually get a win.

These places also have one more great thing about them which is the fact that overtake is harder and that means if you are trying to overtake someone with pure power you are going to end up upset because there is very little amount of space left to take that risk. At the end of the day it is better than monaco for sure but it is still a pole position favorite place and that is why you do not see many gambling places allowing you to gamble after the qualifiers is over, they do not really want to give you that chance because it is usually obvious who finishes at the top will finish the race at the top more often than not.

I don't know what the next, but he starting in 11 position pole this time, that is hard to get the winner, he still pessimistic. in 1st pole posisition taken by Quartararo, Bagnaia in 2nd and Zarco in 3rd posostion. today MotoGP Italy in Mugello circuit begin, Quartararo still in first stand position with 80 points and Bagnaia in 2nd position with 79 points, 1 point different left.

What happened, exactly?  Was he following Vinales throughout the quals?  All of the sudden Espargaro is in 4^th and Vinales fell to 13^th.



Marques is a sneaky bastard, he can be a real troublemaker on the track.  His tactics have put riders in danger and caused crashes before.  He's obviously an amazingly skilled rider, but I'm not a fan of his aggressive style.

I'm looking forward to it, I hate Monaco and I'm glad it's done and out of the way for another year. I don't think we should even call Monaco a race, when it's simply a procession.
Yes Baku is another street track, but it's an improvement on the last one It will be interesting to see how Hamilton and Mercedes react after the disaster last time out... I assume there will be a big improvement.

Actually in Q1 Marquez was in the fastest position, Nakagami position 5. But I don't know why there is no Honda in the top 10 and the final start in Q2. Hasn't Honda found the best engine suit for Marquez? Some local media in my country say it is a bad factor in Marquez's current appearance. Besides that, congratulations for Quartararo, I see he is a racer who is always consistent to start on the 2 leading grids. Currently he is also breaking Marquez's time record in 2013 when he is 2.5 seconds faster.

I don't know him fully but I feel sorry for him, I hope the family will be given strength. When viewed from a very young age. If I'm not mistaken, Duspaquier fell first on the downside then a speeding Sasaki hit him.

This is some really sad news to hear.Of course the races maybe cancelled but the real problem is the safety of the MotoGP riders.In F1 after the death of Senna they took safety of the drivers really seriously and only Bianchi has died afterwards because of a really bad crash and bad luck while in MotoGP races more riders have died.I think FIM should start and take riders safety even more seriously than they already have.RIP Dupasquier.

But there is not much what they can do more to improve safety. They introduced things like airbags and I have no idea how they can improve it more. And in accidents like this, none of safety things would had protected him from serious injuries.
Motosport always will be more dangerous than autosport. And even if F1, fatal accidents still happens - Jules Bianchi or Anthoine Hubert in F2.

Wow, so tragic.  RIP, young man.

Unfortunately the danger is always there, it's inherent in motorcycle racing.  FIM has done a wonderful job improving rider safety in the last three decades, so thankfully these stories are fewer and farther in between than when I was a kid.  Track designs and safety improvements can only do so much, however.   Marco Simoncelli's accident comes to mind as one incident that just can't be planned for, what a tragedy that was.

Lol, a few years ago Dani Pedrosa was complaining that Honda's engineers had only ONE rider in mind when designing their bikes.  Wanna guess who that rider was?  Hint: it wasn't Pedrosa, lol.  Marques will be fine eventually.  He's recovering from a bad accident last season, and still has some pain in his shoulder.  This will give the mere humans on track a chance to win some races before he fully recovers.

I don't get to see the race until CBS broadcasts tonight at 5pm local time.  What a joke.  Anyway, I see Rossi finished at 10 after starting at 19^th.  Good job VR46!

Honda made the mistake of only placing everything on # 93 and that has now paid off ... A good race by Rossi that's right, I hope he has more confidence now and I hope he has some good races again. But Vinales is out of shape and is in the shadow of his team-mate.
