I hope for next week's race Quartararo will have to do his best to keep his points away from Johan Zarco who is currently only 14 points away.

Ducati is still the toughest rival for Quartararo. Just look at positions 2-4 all are Ducati drivers.
The penalty made the difference point between Quartararo and Zarco a little. But regarding this penalty is it final as a punishment for Quartararo? 
I read a lot of news if it is intentional then he could be disqualified in the Spanish series. So if this is true he could lose more points.

^  RBR has the faster car than Merc this season imho.  I don’t think Merc is just sand bagging when Toto Wolff says that they’re struggling to find good pace.  I think they really are struggling and it could take a couple of GP’s to find the right solution.  But all in all, deep inside of me I don’t want Schumacher’s record to be broken..  I kinda like it with Schumacher and Hamilton tied at 8 a piece.  

Yes Honda has a come a long way from their disastrous return at McLaren in 2015.RedBull aerodynamics have always been among the best if not the best compared to all other teams.Now the things are clicking and Redbull for me is the best team in mixed tracks but also they need to find a bit of more speed in fast paced tracks like Monza if they really want to fight for the driver's Championship.I think they will win constructors title because of Perez being a much better driver than Bottas which is far more helpful to the team.

I couldn’t even remember that Honda came back with McLaren.  Lol.  I will look it up later.  It’s nice to get back on these guys’ history.  But yeah, RBR’s great aero all thanks to Adrian Newey.  I’m pretty surprised he’s still around after hinting of retirement around 5 or so years ago.

Even a chance at constructors cup this year is the proof that how much better they are when talking about cars, sure Perez is a better driver than Bottas that is for sure but it is not about Bottas alone, Bottas was bottas every single season and they still won constructors, yet this year Red Bull is looking like they are doing so much better.

I personally believe that Red Bull got better this year just like how everyone else said but there is a small decline in Mercedes this year as well, think about how much problems they had in just the past 2 races, at monaco hamilton finished 7th and Bottas couldn't get out of the pit because of the nut, and this one they both finished but outside of top 10 because of car issues.

At the end of the day Mercedes was at the top because they rarely had these problems, this year they had it back to back and we still have plenty of races left, maybe they will recover and be amazing again, or maybe they will continue down like this and that would be shocking to whole racing world.

Look yes, Quartararo got final as a punishment for shortcut lap but not for custom incident. About disqualified, I think that is rumors only, the custom incident is accidental, looks like the problem with the custom zipper.

The Azerbaijan GP was incredibly awesome. After the boring Monaco GP, this was really great.    It was very shocking to see Verstappen crashing because of a tyre issue. It was the same tyre with Stroll's crash so it was obviously a problem related to the tyres. I was really hoping Verstappen to win and open the gap in the driver standings.
After a standing start, Hamilton shockingly couldn't brake and turn. And he ended at the 15th place. This was a horrible race for him also.
But seeing different drivers on the podium was also great. Perez had a really decent race and deserved this victory. Finally, Vettel had a great race and ended as the 2nd. We saw a great competition between Gasly and Leclerc in the last laps for the podium and Gasly managed to end as the 3rd.

Then if it's just a rumor Quartararo's points won't decrease.
Yes, I heard the news about this, it seems that Davide Brivio's departure makes him uncomfortable. Besides that I see this season Mir was not so good at the beginning of this season, maybe the development of suzuki was not as good as last year.
So if he left it might be the right choice to develop.

As you may know, drivers have points on their license, they will lose points for mistakes they do.

He has only 3 points left for 3 GP If I can remember correctly so with some kind of mistakes he can be banned.

I haven't looked for table of penalty points, but I think Mazepin is also close from getting ban. He got quite a lot penalty points just in few races.

@AakZaki this is indeed a welcome news for all F1 fans, but I hope that they’ll yet ask fans to adhere to social distancing norms because we don’t covid to spread because of fans being welcomed back. Furthermore do you believe that other race tracks will allow fans too, if these races become successful and there’s no covid issue from allowing fans to be back in the stands?.

I don't remember either.It must be because drivers know how many points they have left on their license and when they are near a ban they become more cautious.I think that we will not see a ban for Lando Norris,I am sure he will be very careful during the upcoming race unless he is in a position to fight for the podium or more and this may make him race more aggressively and being more prone to errors which will definitely lead him to a ban for a race.

Norris wasn't really cause of that penalty point, he wasn't ever of the red flag and he was literally on the line, like just a second or so and he stayed out, not like dude was a mile away and still didn't pit, which is why it shouldn't have been a severe penalty point like this. Dude will be missing one race for sure without a doubt, you can't just race that many races without ever missing a game, and it is very very bad for someone like Norris to miss a race because he is fighting for the third spot, it is almost guaranteed to finish at top 5 if he keeps this season series going, and with one miss it is like he would be basically dropping from third place fight very easily, bottas and perez surely would have some points unless some freak situation like Baku happens, which is why I feel like it is going to matter a lot. Mazepin doesn't have that much penalty because he served his, he is just at 2.

Russell wants 2022 plans to get sorted as soon as possible. And there are rumours like Mercedes could decide to bring Russell in the place of Bottas even before the end of the season. I'd really like to see Russell becoming a Mercedes driver very soon. So I hope that they make a decision in this direction.

Prediction time game for pole on Motorrad Grand Prix Deutschland still ongoing 6 days left for who the lucky guess the exact time. The best time at the moment still holding by Marquez with 1 minute 20,195 seconds. I know this session hard for Marquez, he still hasn't focus, crash every time. my favorite still Quartararo, maybe only a bit different time with Marquez.

In other news, there is an updated lineup moto racer on 2022. Look the same, no changes for team and bike. Only a bit racer didn't yet choose the team like Valentino Rossi.

Next week F1 will be back in Frace after 1 year of a pause due to Covid.
The track is awful to see, very benevolent with a lot of escape routes but at least is possible to overtake.

On this track Mercedes should be very strong since we have high speed and high speed turns where the grip should not be the main thing over the top speed.

A good step back to normality with fans, in Austria there is a 3 G rule, tested, recovered or vaccinated, so I assume that the rules will also apply to the two double races in Formula 1 and MotoGP. Just see how many fans are allowed?

Yes, the rumours about Russell replacing Bottas are hotting up. I think in large part because of Bottas' poor performance in the last race. The Mercedes hasn't been great for the last two races, but Hamilton nearly won in Azerbaijan, whereas Bottas was nowhere.

Mercedes have Hamilton fighting for the drivers championship, which is fine. But they need their second driver to pull in enough points so that they win the constructors title too. The moment it looks like they're not going to win the constructors is the moment they start to seriously think about letting Bottas go.

As for whether they'd make the change mid-season, I don't think so. It would be at the end of the season. Mercedes have made comments before - and quite recently - that they don't change drivers mid-season, 'other' teams do that (a clear dig at Red Bull).

I believe that is quite possible but for a huge team like Mercedes that is going to be a horrible risk to take, a horrible thing if not taken. Bottas clearly doesn't want to be second guy to Hamilton anymore, he has watched his teammate get all the glory and kept hearing all the blame is on him and kept told that he should make way so that Hamilton could race faster, and that is really not something that he can continue to do, he just hates it at this point.

So, it is 100% guaranteed in my mind that Bottas is gone this offseason for sure, but if they get Russel right now that means they would have to bring him up to speed (Pun intended) for how to race behind Hamilton as well, and as a new racer that got a chance, there is a possibility Russel could risk the races and race very dangerously to get great results in order to show he is not a Bottas but a Verstappen for Hamilton.

Yey, of course this is good news. This industry must recover soon, even though the epidemic hit they can minimize it. Although until now there is no guarantee that the vaccine is able to resist Covid. I think every organizer will be happy to welcome, besides increasing the income from tickets, there will be a different atmosphere.

That's awesome news.  It's good to see some folks apply common sense, it's been far too uncommon the last couple of years.  I've been thinking about booking travel for the Thai or the Malaysian GP, but decided to put it off until next year just in case restrictions don't get lifted.  The dates for American and Argentine races are still pending.  

It's odd the American GP hasn't been scheduled yet.  It's held at the Circuit of the Americas in Texas, and if I'm not mistaken Texas has lifted all restrictions.

For the next GP in Germany, the difference of 14 points from Zarco seems that Quartararo must appear without errors so that he continues to lead the standings temporary.

There's still a lot of the season left to go, only a third of the races have been run so far.  Anything can happen, but I wouldn't mind seeing Quartararo, Zarco, Miller duke it out all season.
