Do you know this for sure?

Also, i have serious doubts that this is generally correct. Nobody knows who wrote NXT (or even Bitcoin ffs) for example, but its still there.

need an official twitter acc, email address..

Well, even if I feel that I do not want to be involved in any exchange business, I could come up with 3 BTC easily for the one, who wants to trigger this Wink Since I do not hold a single BTC, I would have to buy it first.

Yeah, given all the shitcoins they list lately i doubt they have any such demands. Bittrex is being said that they want to be bribed. They demand 3 BTC for a listing. At least that's what i heard over at the Golem slack.

phh...

Bittrex is almost DEAD... it's got NO VOLUME,

What will u do with bittrex!!, we can wait polo, ithink time is not important, first xel can hit c-cex or Cryptopia, later polo.

i can wait it.

but, polo is professional, they wont list xel after mainnet. they will watch some, when they see project is working smooth and probably..

Most likely its just a rumor. Wink Lets see what happens if we go live and contact them with official Twitter and email.

@beyinsi: Its not a question of x OR y. You know we could easily be traded at several different exchanges. Wink

The new testnet only makes sense when there is at least one super node online. Otherwise, you cannot submit any work at all.
But what is the screenshot about?

XEL builds upon the NXT code-base. That's why you can see NXT being written from time to time at the moment. The final version will obv have "NXT" being changed to "XEL".  Wink

no yobit please, they are scammers

Has Yobit ever directly scammed someone?  I know they arguably operate in the weasel zone insofar as adding even questionable coins, but they have never done anything like actually steal money from my account, not in the year I've used them.

Yobit has higher volume on most altcoins than any exchange other than Poloniex.

Of course, I'm not adverse to Poloniex, if or when it happens.

I have contacted yobit support almost ONE YEAR ago regarding wallets that have been under "maintenance" for several months to over a year in some cases. I still have NOT received even ONE reply to that ticket. I also find it odd that the majority of coins (or in my case all of them) with wallets under "maintenance" are PoS Coins.

The problem is that yobit has not allowed me to withdraw FIVE different coins for nearing an entire year now, because the wallets are (and have been) under "maintenance". Strangely enough, the five Coins in my situation are all PoS Coins, & therefore I have lost a great deal of REAL money resulting from lost staking profits (which I consider a SCAM)!

After a TON of checking/comparing, the majority of yobit wallets that are under "maintenance" are all majority PoS Coins, & I find the chances of that (especially when compared to several other Exchanges), are just too coincidental that most all be PoS Coins! It also leads me to believe that the main reason these wallets have been (and remain) under "maintenance" for SO long is that yobit must be staking these Coins themselves.

Just recently, I have sold all of my coins on yobit (in some cases for a loss) so I could get as much Bitcoin back as possible & withdraw it. I will NEVER use yobit again - not even to check the price of an alt! I strongly suggest ALL others to do the same, whether they actually do or not is on them..

On a completely different note - is it still possible to invest in this project before it goes live? If not, will the dev team be releasing wallets and/or miners?

after Elastic release..we will see a 10M-50M marketcap..

That depends where it gets listed. If it gets on Poloniex potentially, however then Evil-Knievel will have to fully dox himself to the Poloniex decision makers since they need devs to be fully verified before even considering adding a coin nowadays. Bittrex also requires full verification so if he doesn't want to do it, you're stuck at yobit/c-cex/cryptopia.

We can easily name someone else as representative. In the end exchanges just want a connection in case something goes wrong in the network.

Well, I am far from anonymous and I have nothing to hide, but I just code and always will ... I do not want to appear as any representative of anything. I have no power to decide anything and I have no ambitions to take any responsibility.

I would love to see someone pull the strings here!

Just a little status update: As promised, I have finished the core client code so it fully supports the super node scheme. It's all in the GIT and all the new tests (Supernode Election and Work Functionality with new Supernode Signatures) work fine. What a weekend ;-) But since it was in the road map it had to be finished.

The new functionality (while running fine in the test benches) works fine, however, before we can test it in the wild, we need actual physical supernodes. This is the next step on the road map list: I will work closely with coralreefer to get some super nodes up and running as quick as possible.

that's great updates, also i can help build some supernode in china.

Well said EK, no matter for any exchanges or any pumps and dumps, if the coin is a useful one, nothing can stop it from growing and I believe XEL will join the list of BTC, NXT......just a matter of time.

Yes, we all know these are just GUI related details, but they're present there for looong time, so let's not forget to modify before mainnet please :-)

yeah exchanges just need full node source code to verify there is nothing dodgy hidden there...nothing to do with the devs

build it and they shall come is my opinion...

so lets concentrate on getting mainet launched, check for bugs free, supernodes and a decent miner in ubuntu so we can get people mining this thing and make it decentralized. fuck all this talk about exchanges....unless you guys want to dump your coins to me for chhhhheap  Grin

Some will probably dump but some will buy much more...  Wink
Talking about exchanges is not bad, it is a natural step to come after mainnet and maturity (When and where is a question)

I log into yobit almost daily but I don't think we should try to be getting listed there. Yobit is a place for shitcoins, volatility, pumping and dumping- XEL is a legitimate coin with real potential. Poloniex or ttrex is the way to go, in my opinion.
