Many are confused about the terminology: What is a bounty fund, what is a pow fund, how are supernodes rewarded, ...

Here a first sketch about the XEL flows during the lifetime of a job! Feel free to do a better one.
I will make a second one not showing the XEL layer, but more the "information" layer (showing how jobs are splitted and what conditions make a bounty a bounty, and a pow a pow).

In the graph you split between useful bounty solutions and useless pow one, with a different fund for each.
It also seems from the text, that miners "decide" to look for bounty solutions instead of useless ones. Is that the case or are they just looking for solutions in general and some happen to be "good" ones.

That would make more sense, otherwise why would the scientist fund useless pow work?

Might be a stupid question, as I still don't understand much about the process

The Bitcoin network protocol was designed to be extremely flexible. It can be used to create timed transactions, escrow transactions, multi-signature transactions, etc. The current features of the client only hint at what will be possible in the future.

Mainnet is ready?

No, mainnet is not ready yet.
Having so many great updates is amazing - yet it does not mean mainnet is happening tomorrow... (this amazing system will roll out when ready and testing is over, please be patient).

Elastic will blow all of them away. I really didn't expect EK will add so many thing before the release, and I'm sure Elastic will grow even more later on. I'm sticking to my price target of 0.1 BTC per 1 XEL in less than two years !

Plenty of examples in history where the winner is the first rather than the best.

But golem does not work yet, it's just traded for now, unless I'm mistaken.

There is still no general purpose decentralized computer like elastic that is functioning. So still time to be the first.

Hope someone comes up with some Elastic merchandise. From the day I order, I would run around in Elastic jackets waiving Elastic flags out of the windows of my car with a huge Elastic sticker attached to the trunk.

Now, back to work  Wink

If people are interested I can do a shirt / hat order with 1-2 colors and a logo. But first, I will need access to the transparent .psd / vector logo files if someone has them floating around.  Then I can produce a few samples and see which ones people like.

Edit: Oh shizz i just realized my account turned hero!  Cheesy

Congratulations ;-) Welcome to the Hero Club.

Is this the new "official" logo?

Seems the logo conversation moved over to the elastic forums without a clear selection.

If you want to vote on the logo, or submit a logo, lets keep that conversation over there, and we can hold a formal vote.

It's still pretty important to attract promiscuous investors capital early on. In this regard I would prefer to see XEL tradable as early as possible to stake out our positions.

I do not think that high prices reflect the value of xel, should allow more people to participate in the development of the elastic, and the formation of a good ecology, this is the true value of xel, with real value, but also worry about the price?

cosmetic change but it was irritating for so long that news feed was pointing to NXT sites.

So I fixed it.
