Don't get me wrong I love a-ads and I use them sometimes to advertise but when it comes to publishers I think it's one of the most unfair advertising systems. For a publisher to send over 2000 unique impressions and make literally a penny from it is unheard of and quite frankly a huge rip-off, so this tells me one thing, the advertiser is getting a huge advantage because there ad is showed to over 2000 people and I make a penny from it. Tell me how your system is fair for publishers?
Thanks for your feedback. The traffic price is determined by competition of advertisers and competition of publishers. We try to design our algorithms in such a way that good publishers have an advantage over bad publishers, but we don't have a reliable solution that would guarantee fair money distribution. Please give me a link to the source of good traffic that got 1 penny for 2000 unique impressions and I will try to understand why it happened. Traffic volume is not the only factor that influences earnings. Some ad units earn much more, e. g.: https://a-ads.com/catalog?ad_unit_id=55526&target_type=AdUnitAlso the affiliate ads only benefit the advertiser since the publishers only get rewarded if an action is completed, ie. signup, survey, etc! So this means the advertisers will probably make anywhere from $1 and up per signup while the publisher on a-ads is rewarded with pennies
We don't care too much about how much advertisers get from affiliate ads because we send them unsold traffic. E.g. if publisher specified that his/her expectations are that ad unit should earn 0.01 btc per day, but actual earnings are 0.009 btc per day, then we consider 10% of publisher's traffic to be unsold and send it to affiliate ads with a hope that they would increase ad units' income. There is some kind of competition between affiliate advertisers: more they pay - more traffic they get for free. So you can think of it as an alternative way of selling your traffic, where the price is determined by market too. Another thing like the user above mentioned is go through all the sites and delete junk ones so the more legit publishers have a chance to earn more
Thanks for suggestion, but it is not trivial to formalize and decide which sites have to be deleted, so we are taking a smoother approach by setting the weights to the sites. Any changes made yet?
Just deployed some changes, will see tomorrow whether it improves the situation (though ad unit #67832 is not active any more, so I am not sure yet how to see it)

Is it embedded to the exact URL specified upon ad unit creation? If so - please let me know ad unit ID, I will check it.

Started using your ads the other day and noticed some problems with how the information is reported.
I posted ads from one domains code to another domain and it is very clearly not matching the sum of the two domains traffic vs my Google Analitics.
I'm going to make a separate code for each site from now on.
Feel free to PM me and I'd be happy to show you what I'm talking about.
tl;dr
Make a new a-ad for every site!
Edit: OP messaged me and I now understand what I was seeing and were to see it.

Ad unit will be categorized in 24 hours after it starts generating traffic and our bot finds ad unit code embedded on the specified URL ( http://bitcoin.winspiral.net). Ad Unit #82427 is something wrong? it is till "unknown" status.

Since August, 21 (when there was a sharp drop in amount of clicks due to the introduction of captcha filters) amount of human clicks doubled.

Thanks for your question. Sorry for miscommunication.
In brief:
1. We implemented optional user accounts (with optional email).
Users can authenticate via bitcoin address or login and password and control their objects in one place, or they can still use a-ads without any registration (we automatically created user accounts for users that signed in with their bitcoin addresses in the past and linked their objects to them).
Earnings of all ad units that belong to the registered users are being accumulated on the users' account (and will be withdrawn automatically when they hit the configurable threshold).
2. We enabled publishers to specify the maximum captcha rate for their ad units (default is 100%).
We let publishers and advertisers decide whether they want to display captchas to visitors. If publishers set it to a lower value, they might loose earnings from advertisers that want a higher captcha rate.
I will be able to explain it in detail tomorrow.

I've got a question...
I recently became aware of the affiliate ads, but am scared to implement them on my site knowing that any additional ads on the page (any loading after the first one) won't count for globally unique impressions, therefore earning barely anything.
My question is, since affiliate ads don't pay based on impressions, are they still counted against the globally unique pageview statistics? I hope to put an affiliate ad on a part of my site that is higher up in my page code, meaning it would load first. But if this uses up my one unique pageview, then my regular publisher ad (loading second) will lose all it's money.
Is this how this works? Or do the affiliate ads not count against my globally unique view count?
I hope this made sense, it was rather hard to explain lol

Thanks for your question. I am not sure I understood it correctly, but will try to answer it. If you want to advertise particular advertiser then you can use ad unit of type "Affiliate", it is just a referral link that doesn't affect your impression counts. If you have several ad units of type "Site" on the same page, then the one that loads first will get most of the unique impressions, and the one that loads last will probably be undermonetized and display affiliate ads (you can adjust the " Wanted daily income" parameter).
