this is the problem here. why mining for 16 BTC here when you could mine for 25 BTC elsewhere?

>>I don't mine to get paid
i do!

Let's see, what's the best way to go about this? If he finds the block, he can sign a message to me with the pool payout address that I confirm with Graet is correct and I'll divide my earnings. Since I said "this week", let's say the prize is awarded if the block is found before 12/08 00:00 pool server time. I may extend that if necessary.

they won't, it's too confusing for them. it is often the case that people with little to no patience are the first to simply assume shenanigans without doing their research. There is no shenanigans here, simply an excessively long round due to a few technical glitches, from which some miners took flight.

nothing devious, just how it is sometimes.

Now where is that mythical DGM surplus when you need it ?!

Oh there it is ! notsoGraet is using it to pad his fat cat ass with it.

Round duration : 71 Days 10 Hours 48 Minutes
Estimated payout : 26.60856601 BTC

ATTENTION : 172 Thash should be earning 2.16 BTC per day.

edit  --> http://dustcoin.com/

Tune in tomorrow and we'll see what bullshit number notsoGraet dreams up.

Right, it's 172TH right now. But it's been about 18TH for most of the last month. If we'd been running 172TH steady there wouldn't be a problem.

It's definitely hurting, that's why I'm offering a reward to help finish out the round. I'm not affiliated directly with the pool nor am I in league with anyone, just wanting to help move things along. I don't know how much longer the pool will be operating (Graet's said he'll keep the servers running) after this round, but too many people have put hashes into it so far to see it all peter out.

The only time I can think of that Oz didn't pay rounds in full readily was a little over a year ago, when a few large players were scamming the pay-on-target side of things with a block-withholding attack and ran us up some 300-400% rounds that drained the pool buffers. Payouts were operating on a queue until the buffer was actually a thing again (just like any pool does with long blocks) and we were doing well for most of this year.

Regarding that review, I have no idea why your hashrate was "throttled" for the first day. It might have been vardiff issues, but I haven't seen that problem. Occasionally there'll be stats reporting issues, but stats are cosmetic and the nodes cache all shares.

I started mining in September on the pool, so I think I was a member for the last four blocks that were found.

about the throttling, every other pool I tried, difficulty adjusted automatically, it was very weird but after running full pelt for 24 hour it then changed and started recording shares as I would expect, hence thinking it's an anti-pool hopping mechanism for new miners. But I guess I'll be forfeiting whatever's there, but fair dues to those of you holding out to the bitter end. It's a shame to see a pool with nearly 2k blocks go under, but circle of life i guess, every industry has ones that don't last the long term.

Or how about we try using the 7 day average of 38 thash and the 0.478 BTC per day these miners should be earning. Instead, notsoGraet's DGM is paying less than 15% of that.

Am I the only one paying attention here !?

WARNING ! notsoGraet is ripping you off ! Again..

Hi!

I'g getbtc fom Ozcoin.
Sorry for bad english, i not speak too good.
I want so help to solve this problem block, i have rigs and rentings.
So i leases hash power for less than HALF price, *ONLY* for Ozco workers.
Now 1TH/Day mine 0.0126Btc, my proposition 1TH/Day = 0.006BTC
Length of renting = (Send money / wanted TH*0.006) Day

Please send your information (workername, workerpass, wanted hash for me "getbtcnow@gmail.com", or in reply)
Send coins to 1GetBTCS3v84PmyftP521SFinb64ZLtT3Y, this is new address only for ozco renters, every renting is viewable on this address: https://blockchain.info/address/1GetBTCS3v84PmyftP521SFinb64ZLtT3Y

I'm not going to fool anyone, I understand if you are wary, so try out the service only small amount,
and if there is a problem let us know immediately.

Let's find that fu**ing block together! Trust me we will find!

Regards,
 GBC

for now i can't rent as all my BTC is in pools waiting payouts - which leads me to the point for FUDders.
Oz isn't a bad pool, the only issue is this long round (and there will be more in the future i don't doubt), for now and as BTC mining averages will always dictate, once this round finishes, I think we can expect that average to bring us some luck Wink

I also mine on another DGM pool and it is often the case there that they have long rounds too, it's just how it is in the current network climate.
so, folks, don't get disheartened, we will see blocks again soon, stick with it.

ps, GetBtcNow welcome to the forum. i hope we see you active to discuss all things BTC  Grin
