In my opinion, ethereum will always be a good and reliable coin. It already proven itself in the market. Also most coins that we are enjoying right now are based in ethereum. Also its value is continuously increasing. But of course every crypto currency shows a high percentage of volatility, meaning its value is unstable. It might go high quickly or it might decrease its value over a short period of time. So invest an amount that you're ready to loose anytime. Start in small amount to experiment.

In my opinion, Ethereum is one of the best and successful crypto after BTC, considering the level of impact Ethereum has right now on the crypto market. Bitcoin might face that danger first but it is ready always to face them all since ever before Bitcoin has never back down to them and if it's down it will always going to rise. So it's a lucky path for Ethereum since Bitcoin is done cleaning it's path for them to get ready to rise just like how Bitcoin rise and fall but in the main time Bitcoin is still ruling all of the cryptocurrency here and no one could ever take him down.

Ofcourse its a safe investment but you need to be cautious. Ethereum has gone up now and is currently at $700 and slowly rising, its also expected it will reach $1K by early Jan. High hopes.

Hi everyone, I've been around for a while now.. 
I've seen a lot of posts positive and negative about Ethereum.

At the moment I am holding Bitcoins, but I have invested in some Ether as well.

Now I am wondering, what are legitimate concerns about Ether (except for IPO, as I've already read this in a lot of posts).

So can anyone bring real other issues to the table, to enlighten me (and maybe a lot of other readers?)

Most of the ICOs these days requires etherium wallet which means that most of them still prefers etherium rather than bitcoin. I think etherium is a good coin that can be a substitute for bitcoin if ever bitcoin totally and completely loses it's value. Still, it's a good thing to know that there is a coin that we can count on.
