Ethereum: Good alt or stay away?

Ethereum is good in the way of alternative than many other alt coins as it is developing continuously.

It is a very stable alt. I just can't seem to be able to put it in my "hodling group" (always end up using it for ICO investments, since most ICOs use it ... but even if there is the alternative between BTC, LTC or ETH I always go for ETH as payment method). With the recent increase I do regret it quite a bit.

Ethereum is actually the best altcoin in my opinion. It have the price growing up highly since a while, and many experts expect that it will reach the highest levels very soon. Also its smart contract feature make it really different than other altcoins and helped a lot to spread the word even more about it.

Ethereum has already gone up so much I don't think it is a good idea to invest a large amount into.
Just invest a small amount you can afford to lose. If it drops then you can think about investing big

Well if we're stock on one ethereum that the big opportunity that you maybe lose but if we make a private ethereum for our token and no one knows it, then probably have the safer side. Unlike usibg ethereum in multi tasking thats a move you've making your money in risk, and i think this ethereum has the opportunity to boom up and more safe as many user uses it in term of investments.

2017 was the year for bitcoin and I am thinking that 2018 will be the year for altcoins and for me at this time number 1 Altcoin is ETH. Because of bitcoin high fees, people are moving towards Ethereum and it getting good momentum and I am sure in 2018 ETH will get at least 2000$ for sure. This is just my point of view if you want to invest in Ethereum first do proper research then go in it.

You are right, Eth start grow fast in this year and will reach 2000$ soon. I think this will the year of Eth because btc could not grow more with some countries banned.

I recommend to hold if you can see how price surge  just december 2017 and when january 2018 comes it again surge to its all time high and still going in uptrend chart for me ETH will have a promising price for 2018

according to me ethereum is a very good altcoin for a lot of time and it has occupied the no. 2 spot in crypto currencies behind bitcoin.
with such increase in bitcoin value the transaction fee and confirmation time has increased and people with less investment have switched over to ethereum because it has very low transaction fee and also in the past 2 weeks its price has increased .
so my advice would be to invest more in it.

Ethereum is a good alt to keep or hold for a long period of time. Majority of the ICOs out there are developed using Ethereum so why doubt if Ethereum is good for long term. As long as there are new ICOs coming out and they use Ethereum smart contracts Ethereum is a good investment.

Definitely a good altcoin and best altcoin .
I am mad because I have it when it was 400 usd but now . As I seen the coinmarketcp.com it grew upto 1000 usd . But I guess I need to accept that and it is because cryptocurrency is unpredictable haha.. Amazing crypto world.
If you do have some ETH keep it for long term and then go for other altcoins haha. It may get you rich after time.

this speculation has been talked many times last year that ethereum will reach the highest value of $2,000 or more this first quarter of 2018.no wonder why this is starting to happen right now,ethereum has been grow from almost $800 upto almost $1,500 now and still moving up.

So for the OP i hope you will come to our crusade and support in ethereum to push investors making ETH progress and achieve its target price this early months of 2018

Hi everyone, I've been around for a while now.. 
I've seen a lot of posts positive and negative about Ethereum.

At the moment I am holding Bitcoins, but I have invested in some Ether as well.

Now I am wondering, what are legitimate concerns about Ether (except for IPO, as I've already read this in a lot of posts).

So can anyone bring real other issues to the table, to enlighten me (and maybe a lot of other readers?)
