This is something I do not understand.
A video card of that consumes at most 130w.
Two are 260w. So why does not a 500w source support it?

If I have to buy source I'll buy soon 1000 or 1200w.
Because I'm going to use 6 plates soon.
Which modular font do you recommend in this range?

Thanks
Almir

Processor AM3+ X2-240
Motherboard 970A-DS3P
Memory 8 GB DDR3

And the two video cards that you want to use are...? What CPU do you use?

Now if you go at the link that you provided, you will see that for a single GPU it's recommended a 500 W PSU. Normally a Radeon Rx 470 should need ~ 150 W maximum. So for 2 x GPU you need ~300 W maximum.
CPU 50W. Do you have something elso that uses power? Because I had the same issue and the problem was PSU.
Every time a block is mined, a certain amount of BTC (called the subsidy) is created out of thin air and given to the miner. The subsidy halves every four years and will reach 0 in about 130 years.

Okay, but the psu that is weak or is it in trouble?

USB riser cables consume less power than the directly connected card in the 16x PCI express slot?

My bet would be the PSU

Guys, what mean "incorrectly calculated shares" in solo(not pool) mining. Looks like ( 0/0/1(0.00%)) in EthMan stats.
I'm mining solo almost a week already. First few days all was good 2-3 blocks per day. 3 last days was very unlack.
I still got same 2-3 shares but almost all of them is looks like 0/0/1 ("incorrectly calculated shares" as says EthMan help)
Is this type of shares is normal situation, and I just have bad luck, or it is may be some hardware errors, or maybe some software(geth) issue?

This is your PSU? http://www.corsair.com/en/cx500-80-plus-bronze-certified-power-supply-na-refurbished

My advice: try with a different PSU, but choose one with some more Amps on the +12V rail, like this: http://www.corsair.com/en/ax860i-digital-atx-power-supply-860-watt-80-plus-platinum-certified-fully-modular-psu-eu

I'm having an issue with port 4444, it does not matter what I do it will not connect to port 4444, easy enough , change to port 14444, it works but as soon as the Dev Fees kick in they will try US1.ethermine.org:4444, they will fail to connect and restart Claymore all over again.
Is there any ways to change that? Could I have the Dev Fees go to another pool, on the smaller CPUs it does it, goes to ethpool or the other one, its driving me crazy.
I guess The rig looses some 30 min per day doing that.

The load start as soon as you start Claymore, find a bigger PSU and try it.

Well I did figure it out, the one having a problem with the Port 4444 is my internet provider, did try with another service and go figures it works just fine.

Will have to talk to those guys

Are you using the recommended catalyst 15.12 ? Because overdrive is AMD auto-clock / fan management so if claymore use the one present on your system it may be too old or too recent to be claymore compatible.
what command do you use to launch claymore ? Any gpu oc or temp managment in the cmdline ?
You should try to completely replace current PSU with the spare one you tested before to check if main PSU isn't in trouble
Try also with only 1x GPU to see if the stability is better

Yes use the recommended drivers i don't use AMD rig, but i presume it's mandatory Smiley

also remove -ethi 16 and let the default be, you are doubling the default intensity, it's probably why it's not going good. so remove -ethi completly and let it default for now. you probably want to test this before even changing the drivers.

my drivers are corect ?:

remove only "-ethi 16" ?

then the line is
EthDcrMiner64.exe -epool eu1.ethermine.org:4444  -ewal 0x4FAd3e68CEc96AfbB0457B17A46fF6896EB57E40.worker1 -epsw x -etha 0 -esm 1

Is it not a problem with windows 10?
because the drivers have many problems

Thanks

Would be nice if you will add ability to use environment variables in "epools.txt" and "config.txt" files, like in zcash miner.

Ok I will release an update soon.

Please read Readme and FAQ in the first post of this thread before asking any questions, probably the answer is already there.

Hey Claymore,

Would be nice to have the ability to protect the admin port for the remote console of claymore by adding maybe "-mkey yourpassword" ? and/or able to make the remote console listen on different port in different mode (-mport 3333 -4444) so that you could expose monitoring on the internet for remote administration/monitoring purpose. I know both request it would require you to change also the code for ethman, but it would be a great feature Smiley

keep up the good work Smiley

cheers.
