Kindly share your speeds on Sapphire HD 7990 on eth only

Don't mine ETH with that card. Mine XMR or ZEC instead.

It has a DAG bug thrashing.

HD 7990 is very good for ZEC mining as it has 384 bit memory bus.

I knew but i was getting and running stable @ 14Mh/s on each GPU.
Just wanted to make sure it was not my settings fault.

Other guy getting 22MH/s mining ETH on 7950 GPU which has same spec 3GB and 384 bit memory bus (if i am not wrong)

7990 has two GPUs so it should at least get 18Mh/s to 20Mh/s on each GPUs

14-15 Mh/s on each of the 7990's GPU, this is what I get when mining ETH, but the card is very good at Zec mining 290-300 H/s /GPU
22Mh/s on 7950 I think was in the old days...

Thanks for the link.

As I see it, the card does 22,5 Mh/s mining Expanse, which is on a lower EPOCH, this explains a lot! In the old days of ETH a 7990 was mining with 42-44 Mh/s Wink

7950 can do 22MH ETH @ insane clocks like 1450/1750 and some 300W+ ... That would be fun with 7990 :-)

Guys,

You can also mine Pascal Lite with your Eth+Pasc dualminer.

Pascal Lite is a fork of pascalcoin with improvements on network and coin immersion. The networks sits at 250GHS on peak and 70GHS atm.

For more Info you can check its ANN at

ANN:       https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=1773026.0
Explorer
: https://pascallite.com/
Pool:       https://pasl.fairpool.xyz/
Pool automatically distributes an account to miner when you reached 12.5 PASL

Its on cue to be listed on https://www.cryptopia.co.nz/. The devs are currently working it out. If you missed the first one, this might be your second chance. Mine while hashrate is low.

Cheers.

Profitable to mine?

Not yet. It is all speculation at the moment.

Pascal Lite isn't on any exchanges yet. However they are in the process of getting listed on Cryptopia.

I turned my rig on to dual mine ETH & PASL just in case. I stopped mining DCRED for a couple days.

So, I have a problem.

I have Ubuntu 16.04 with two 4Gb rx 470s (red devils) in pci-e slots. Miner hangs after the "1 DCR pool specified" line. Before open CL initializing. I was able to make it work randomly, but it hangs with "DAG buffer allocation" error after a few minutes.
If I remove one GPU from the slot it works perfectly fine.
I have similar rig with Sapphire rx 470 and 480 in two pci-e slots. It works fine.
Maybe, I need configure a driver?
I cannot work out a solution. Please, help!

1. To high clock. Or over - undervolted
2. Weak PSU or bad connector/s
3. Dirty card contacts
4. Faulty card
5. Did I mention "reinstall driver? and use 16.11.5?

I have 4 such identical rigs. So it's systematic. Not a dirty contact.
For rx 470 on linux I have to use amdgpu pro 16.xx driver.

I suspect, i need configure MB bios or X-org. Dont know exactly how.

While mining Eth and Siacoin, or any other coin for that matter, it seems like my secondary coin is always locked at 10x the rate of eth. When I mine DCR or SC with it, it's always exactly 10x the speed of the Eth mining (23.5MH/S, GTX 1060 3gb). Is this a known thing or something I should look into?

Like the above poster said its all speculation however there is a temporarily market off the market located at
https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=1817934.0

Highest bid is at 3000 Sats.

So its about 322% more profitable than PascalCoin if you can sell at that price and at the current difficulty.

However there are no gaurantees you can sell at that price and the difficulty is skyrocketing every few hours...

I've got a very strange problem on one of my machines: EthDcrMiner seems to lock up of some kind and the process cant be killed via taskmanager (access denied)

seems to happen sometimes when killing it to start another miner with higher profitability, as a result i now have 6 instances of the miner running which cant be killed, and any new ones started dont start mining and lockup as well:

i have not seen this happening with other miners, will monitor with eth miner disabled

- im using eth only mode
- i have set 16GB of virtual ram
- im using 2x 290 with a single instance per gpu
- im using win8.1 x64
- im using amd drivers 16.12.2

anyboy knows why that might be?

Hi Claymore. Im using your miner and often see this in log files: "DCR: weak share, skip". What does this mean? Im loosing money or it is normal?
Coinmine pool.

Why in miner and in pool are not the same speed?
