yesterday everything working fine but today i am getting too much errros like

ETH: Stratum - Cannot connect to eth-asia1.nanopool.org:9999
ETH: Stratum - Failed to connect, retry in 20 sec..

ETH: Stratum - socket send failed 10054, disconnect
ETH: Connection lost

ETH: Stratum - socket send failed 10054, disconnect
ETH: Stratum - connecting to 'eth-asia1.nanopool.org' <103.3.62.64> port 9999

Can you pin the above address without any problem? It might be related to your internet service provider.

internet is working fine bro. and i tried this pool also us1.ethpool.org:3333 same error
and how to pin address?
sorry i am newbie

Anyone else having problems with nanopool?

I know from my previous mining of SIA that I frequently found problems with nanopool. (I don't mine SIA any more.) They could be under DDoS or whatever.

Try a different SIA pool and see if you are still having problems.

According to NIST and ECRYPT II, the cryptographic algorithms used in Bitcoin are expected to be strong until at least 2030. (After that, it will not be too difficult to transition to different algorithms.)

maxmad_x that's why I've asked:
Quote
-dbg   debug log and messages. "-dbg 0" - (default) create log file but don't show debug messages.
"-dbg 1" - create log file and show debug messages.

hmm..  you mean crash of miner or whole rig?
how much resources (ram, processor, disk)  do you have?
any info from event viewer?

I have i5-6600K asus z170b mobo, 8gb DDR4 ripjaws 3000 ram, 2 cards in pcie16 slot and one with riser in x1 slot

Maybe he is referring to PING command in CMD. in windows open command prompt or CMD, and TYPE ping eth-asia1.nanopool.org THEN Press enter if you receive replies then your connection is good. :-)

here is the ping result

Pinging eth-asia1.nanopool.org [103.3.62.64] with 32 bytes of data:
Reply from 103.3.62.64: bytes=32 time=300ms TTL=52
Reply from 103.3.62.64: bytes=32 time=328ms TTL=52
Reply from 103.3.62.64: bytes=32 time=314ms TTL=52
Reply from 103.3.62.64: bytes=32 time=316ms TTL=52

Ping statistics for 103.3.62.64:
    Packets: Sent = 4, Received = 4, Lost = 0 (0% loss),
Approximate round trip times in milli-seconds:
    Minimum = 300ms, Maximum = 328ms, Average = 314ms

If the ping works then perhaps it is the port that is blocked. Perhaps your firewall/router/proxy is blocking the ports 3333 and 9999.

i tried with cyberghost and everything working fine.

thanksalot all bros. for helping me

Hey @Claymore

Any plans to add controls on updated drivers? is the API for 16.9.2/3 or 16.10 out?

If there is a version that works (power, temp , core clock speed, memory clock speed etc) with later versions of Crimson , that will be great. As almost all the miners are using modified BIOS and 16.7.x needs signed drivers while 16.9 onwards it does not.

Thank you

It already works, at least in Windows. For Linux, only temp/fan reading is supported because root access is required to change anything.

Please read Readme and FAQ in the first post of this thread before asking any questions, probably the answer is already there.

Anyone please want to help me with this ? As far as I can see , I dont see an error. No usual OpenCL call error exit... I can't see the error but the miner reboots !

I have 3 rx480s, Win 10, Crimson 16.9.3  and as you can see , for first few lines it has been working at 30.6MH each. then something has happened and the miner crashes. Can someone please help?

@claymore:

Is there a way we can call the monitoring API directly instead of using the provided EthMan.exe.

I have my own  webmon I would like to use.  just need the json calls/commands.  any documentation?

No docs currently, but protocol is very easy, you can see it with any sniffer like WireShark.

Please read Readme and FAQ in the first post of this thread before asking any questions, probably the answer is already there.

I think you need to add -esm 0

That means stratum mode which is what you're using for Suprnova LBC

The best pool for ethereum ? i use nvidia .

I use the Ethpool.org. It is quite good if you have more than 1GH/s. Or you can use the https://www.miningrigrentals.com

Thanks , i dont put ETH address poloniex or bittrex for mining ? .

AN EXCHANGE WALLET WILL WORK--

But the attacks on the Ethereum network have left mining deposits in a sluggish state.  A hard-fork fix is scheduled for tomorrow.  If you use GETH, be sure to upgrade after the fork.  Most pools and exchanges will be updating; tomorrow may be a rough day.       --scryptr

Hi,

When I use option :

-r   Restart miner mode. "-r 0" (default) - restart miner if something wrong with GPU. "-r -1" - disable automatic restarting. -r >20 - restart miner if something
wrong with GPU or by timer. For example, "-r 60" - restart miner every hour or when some GPU failed.
"-r 1" closes miner and execute "reboot.bat" file ("reboot.bash" or "reboot.sh" for Linux version) in the miner directory (if exists) if some GPU failed.
So you can create "reboot.bat" file and perform some actions, for example, reboot system if you put this line there: "shutdown /r /t 5 /f".

my miner says, that it can not find the reboot.bat, but reboot.bat is in miner directory?

Did someone have idea?

-U --cuda-extragpu-mem 4096 --cuda-streams 1 --cuda-block-size 64 --cuda-grid-size 4096

for genoil

for ccminer i use 1.8.2 with -i 23 no special parameter (but also not specifing intensity is giving me same results)

settings :

70 % power limit

+ 212 core

+ 756 mem

60% fan speed

Temp limit 92 degrees ( videocards at 63 degrees anyway so no problem) power approximately 350  - 370 w from the wall (3x 1070 gtx)

alterantively i could specify no param to genoil and get  70 mhs  to ethereum and  240 from ccminer  with same card specs.

raising power limit and core or mem does not yeld any significant improvement but raising the engery consumed. alternatively there is also possibility to run x11revo  at 11mhs and eth at 9 mhs OR  23 mhs Eth and 6 mhs x11 revo for each card . same settings. Pretty good considering that just x11rev gives 36 mh max on 3 cards ( so 12 mhs per card). power is lower . 320 w

also i wanted to ask why if i put 50 % power the cores do not turbo bost and hangs at  low speed _ they should stay at 1400 - 1500 according to oc but they chill at 1000 slowing greatly eht (happens both with u and genoil... with cc miner instead card does not sit but keep working at full speed)

else 1070 gtx would be best card for eth. 70w @ 34 mhs by solving this issue

I tried these settings on my 1070 and get about 7mh/s on ETH and 200 mh/s on LBRY using genoil and ccminer...doesn't seem good at all. I'm not sure what you're doing if this is working for you.

Search for "Zcash" in this thread and you will see my answer.

Please read Readme and FAQ in the first post of this thread before asking any questions, probably the answer is already there.
