Every time a block is mined, a certain amount of BTC (called the subsidy) is created out of thin air and given to the miner. The subsidy halves every four years and will reach 0 in about 130 years.

+1 im with this guy, no rush on the exchange . .   the only reason people want to rush it to exchange is so they can dump . . . if that happens the market will be flooded and we might not even make the satoshi market . .   i say hold off on the exchange and those broke ass miners who need there 10 bucks for a dimebaggie can sell them in a Marketplace Thread.

@ krista, 303 million . . .

We have the full list of participants and we need to update the giveaway thread after we launch the new site. then we will post the list here. We highly encourage everyone t make sure their listed and then send us their wallet address. OVER BITCOINGARDEN and then we will begin the payout. we plan on paying out tonight. we should finish the payout in about a week. we may send to the first 50 people who send their wallets in a day to ease into the giveaway. but we are still debating that among  ourselves.

OUR current list consists of 329 Participants.
100,000,000,000 / 329 = 303,951,368ESP if this list doesn't change due to a mis-tally.

EDIT:                           ^^PER PERSON^^

Please read a thread before replying, it's not hard

well i thought it was 1k users, that mean even less value for each coin

the real bad thing about this is that it make mining worthless, thus making the coin insecure with no miners, if it can be changed to pos later it would be better

Mining will never be usless,  this coin has a greater purpose than a price suitable to make a profit.  you should really go back and read the thread.  i know theres alot of info here, but its been said over and over price isnt a concern.  If you need to get back some cash for your mining efforts (cuz im sure you went broke mining with cpu)  there is a marketplace thread where you can dump some, why not just sit back and enjoy the ride !!!

you're not understading, miners need profit, none here is mining coins without value, without miners your coin is useless because there is no network security, anyone can perform an attack and destroy your tiny useless coin

you missed the giveaway didnt you ?

Im getting 100 000 a day with an AMD A8 processor . . i wasn't looking for/expecting huge profits.  and its not killing me to not get any profit atm.... considering the other coins i could have my cpu on today im quite happy to take the chance on espers . .   this coin has a purpose, read the roadmap, read the ann.  im all done speaking with you, come back when you have read, if you dont understand feel free to post your questions !
