You are so boring with this paypal, if you see a company who can offer paypal (which is reversible ) and ONE other method ( which is not reversible ) you don't have to worry about using paypal. I guess its clear now

And this will only give someone a false sense of security. In reality, this will protect nothing and has been proven time and time again.

When the subject of buying BTC with Paypal comes up, I often remember this:

Insanity: doing the same thing over and over again and expecting different results.

It can be reversed again and the problem will have again the guy who will be middle man "escrow" if the scammer attempt to chargeback the money which he needs to deal with the dispute later. Or he can accept dealing with PayPal if they show him proof of ID and all legit info that he has on his PayPal account.

Money sent through PayPal and any other money transfer service that accepts credit cards can be easily reversed by the sender, even after several weeks. Therefore, you should only accept PayPal in trades with people you trust very highly.

This is why newbies are not likely to sell their PayPal USD for bitcoins successfully.

Some other services that are not totally safe:
- Bank transfers (ACH, etc.) except wire transfers
- Most gift cards.
- Moneypak
- AlertPay
- Paysafecards
- Dwolla
- Western Union (they reportedly will sue the recipient to recover money in some cases)

You can add SEPA and Moneybookers to that list.
And thats just 2 big ones.

To be fair, Dwolla takes serious action and bans people who fraudulently purchase through their system. Dwolla basically has your "identity" information, and they do not work with credit cards...only bank transfer.

Well i remember, i sold to a spanish guy some Dogecoins, then paypal suddenly revoked his payment coz allegedly someone hacked his account and paid the dogecoins without his authorization. So paypal took the paid 50EUR.
So, paypal wanted a tracking number of the parcel i have sent lol. Yea what parcel?
Yo, what did i? I gave them what they asked for. I sent an empty registered envelope to spain, provided the tracknig number to paypal and got my 50EUR back and i immediately transfered it to my bank account.  Cool

People should simply use escrow & also send as gift and leave a note like "Happy birthday" . low low change of chargeback possibility Grin
btw , how Paysafecard can be unsafe ? It's just a code , you write it . and GG . it cannot be reversible , right?

PayPal is the biggest joke on earth.
I would suggest that if you do accept PayPal, contact them and see how
the person paid you, and if it was with CC, refuse and refund the payment.
I just lost quite a bit of money from Payments that had to have been from
stolen credit cards or credit card companies that are as stupid as PayPal.
The payments were FOUR months ago, and PayPal said they were issued
and unauthorized payment charge backs.  OK, I know for a fact that the
limit for charge backs is 45 days.  No claims ever filed with PayPal.
SO, in other words, PayPal is facilitating fraudulent payments with stolen
credit cards and allowing reversals with no proof and no PP claim.
Its the biggest joke Ive ever seen in my history of PayPal.
Even when you have emails from the buyer for items that were for services
rendered and local pickups, PayPal ignores that evidence from their PayPal
email address and just takes the money back.
Ill never accept another dime in payments from PayPal ever.
If you can get screwed almost 5 months after the person pays because PP
doesn't do their due diligence or proper customer checks, and allows and
facilitates and enables fraudulent payments with stolen credit cards, which
they are in charge of, I cant verify a stolen credit card, and then they make
me responsible for paying that back, they can suck a bag of dicks and die.
I have stopped using eBay and PayPal and do 100% of my shopping on Amazon.
If I had a way to do it, Id put PayPal in the dirt and as out of business as possible.
FUCK PAYPAL TO DEATH.

PayPal is usually said to be the root of all evil in the payment processing world. IMHO Skrill is catching up fast!
