Hello. My hashboard arrived at Bitmain service, UPS says it was collected and signed by MR SUNG yesterday, 09.09.2016, but on BITMAIN service ticket it is not updated as collected.Should I worry ? I sent a mail to bitmain support regarding this
It takes sometimes up to a week for them to update it. they update my ticket after a week with this and send it to me is that mean it repaired or replaced or what ? they don't tell me anything They generally will ship it back to you withing a few days, once they post that status on your account.

So true My second dead board is on its way to me. I will install both dead boards at the same time. Have to thank Yoshi of bitmainwarranty for the replacement service. my verdict on the gear is it is easier to break then any other chip. So plan for it. Also add 10% to the price you pay since the gear breaks so much easier then any of there older gear. Frankly they should charge more for the gear and give a better warranty. Wise choice using Yoshi. He has been very helpful with the one S7 I have with them. Though I'm selling it at the end of the month. Knock on wood, 5 S9's with no dead chips or boards yet.

@Vortexz no worries then if representative picked up your hashboard and you received a call about it. same happened to me when I sent out bad hashboards, it took nearly a month for support to find my boards for warranty repair. the info on the web has absolutely no correspondence or connection to what is happening. Bitmain warranty service is organized that way that all efforts are done so the customer MUST miss the warranty period. Very often there some bugs on he website with the repair ticket, or ignoring customer letters and requests (as they do usually), or sending back not repaired parts, everything in order no to fulfill the warranty repair . So its normal way of handling customer service for Bitmain) So you should really give them more persistent tries and look out - they are very very tricky Good luck!

Good price raise means warranty is now 180 days like I asked them to do> Just kiddingBut it is what they should do. Raise price and 2x warranty. It has become clear to all of us that these chips break easier this is not a knock against bitmaintech it is a simple fact the the 14-16nm chips at ½ the size of the 28nm chips and they have more power leakage and defects. Intel has had more dead 6600k chips and more dead 6700k chips and reports of issues of the smaller chips burning up including the asics in the s-9. I have cheap power I can make money on an s-9 if it keeps running a long time. I can not make money on dead s-9's. Basically buying these with 90 day warranty is a no go at this price. Buying this with a 180 day warranty is a maybe at this price. Buying this with a 360 day warranty is a yes even if the price bumps up to 1450 from 1382 for the 11.85th Buying the 12.93th for 1600 is worth it with a long 360 day warranty. I simply ask to buy my gear with a longer warranty I would pay extra up front for longer warranty.

Er, B12 11.85 was $1442 and 12.93 was $1600, so at least it is slightly lower, NOT higher.

Is anyone here with the S9 11.85Th/s (550Mhz) -model overclocked to ~12.93Th/s (600Mhz)? Is it running stable and ok with 600Mhz settings or do you notice instability in miner operation?

Interesting.
is notPlease note: Bitmain is currently testing payments with Paypal. If you are using PayPal to pay for your order, please note the following before proceeding: 1.We only support Paypal to Paypal payments. You have to register with Paypal to be able to use this feature. 2.You can pay for only one order using PayPal. You can NOT pay for a second order using PayPal until Bitmain decides to expand the use of Paypal 3.The order can only contain 1 unit of the each product type. For example: The order CAN have 3 items in total: 1 AntRouter R1, 1 Antminer S7 and 1 PSU. The order can NOT have more than 1 AntRouter R1 or Antminer S7 or 1 PSU. For payments made using PayPal, an additional 5 % transaction fee will be charged.Antminer R4, 8.6TH/s,shipping out within 7 days after fully paid is not support paypal payment ANTMINER S9-B15, 12.93TH/s,shipping out within 7 days after fully paid is not support paypal payment

I had something weird happen. Both of my S9's stopped hashing with 2 of the three boards. I noticed the hashrate issue reported on the pool side. When I logged into the first S9, most of the stuff looked fine except that two boards were showing 0 for real time hashrate and the overall RT hashrate was a third of normal. I didn't think to make a note of the temps so there may have been a clue there as to whether the boards were using power or not. When I logged into the second one it was almost the same story except that two boards had all X's on the chips. I restarted cgminer on them both and thankfully everything came up fine.
So not sure if this was a network issue of some kind. An S7 on the shelf next to them and using the same network switch had no issues. Or if it was a power issue. All 3 miners (the 2xS9 and the 1xS7) have the same PSU, EVGA 1600 Gold. Considering both S9's were hit with similar malfunction at the same time I am inclined to think it was something external to the miners that caused it.
Also just for the record, restarting cgminer reset the found block counter so the miner that was erroneously reporting a found block (mentioned in recent previous posts) from before, no-longer shows that but it kind of kills the theory that the erroneously reported found block was from before a restart and the counter just hadn't reset.

I've found it depends on temperature. The other morning it was 40F so my machines were running very cool. I turned one up to 650 it ran at 13.85 great for 3 hours. Temperatures here rose so I got nervous and turned it back down. I've never overclocked a s9 before so I am still very leary, especially while they are still under warranty. Except for the one I overclocked of course.
