now in lower than 12 hours there new board that replaced on paid repair is start to give me X's every time i reboot
in temp lower than 86C and after i send the other both boards!
What temp is reading 86c? the chip or board temp? |

What temp is reading 86c? the chip or board temp? the chip with auto fan we have temp lower than 10C now in winter they sent me 550M board by mistake which have lower heatsink like this  i installed 550 firmware and it's working fine for 90 minutes now now if they repaired my both boards and send it back i still need to work them on 550M to protect this one from damage i am disappointed and don't know what should i do with them! |

it still get X's after some hours from working
they send me defective board and now i have 3 boards damaged on the same machine use there latest auto tune firmware and on Ambient temperature lower than 15C all the day with EVGA 1600 PSU
i have another 4 S9 and they doing well
this is the only machine hurt me from the beginning

I thought paypal was 2.99%+30cents and ebay was 10% on the top of that. lol i wish ebay was 2.99% ebay is 13% if you have. storefromt wich costs $20 per month 18% for normal sellers then you gotta pay the damn ebay 3 to 8% paypal fee thats why ebay markups are so high its been that way for over a year |

Happy New Year All!! I would welcome any assistance with a controller board issue for a 13.5TH/s S9.
This is a S9 (October 2016) and I believe there is a failure of the controller board (single piece). I have older S9s at 11.5TH/s, and this controller board looks very different. I have requested a replacement controller board for Bitmain and hopefully they respond.
Symptoms include: No way to access the eitherner GUI screen. I have reset many times, unplugged bashing boards, and still no way to find the unit IP or GUI screen. The small red lights on the hashing boards do not light up at all during any period. I can't update the firmware because there is no way to access the S9 interface.
Long time miner, but this one really stumped me. Of course, happy to donate BTC to anybody who can find a fix. ☺☺☺

Try this out and see if you can use something to get ya going. https://enforum.bitmain.com/bbs/topics/3516 If that doesn't work you'll prolly have to contact bitmain or bitmainwarranty for a replacement controller. Happy New Year:) BR |

did you just get it? Takes 7 minutes to boot. Screwed me up too on my first one, thought it was dead. Also, both fans have to be connected and spin. I had a zip tie block the rear fan from spinning once and it would not start. |

try to use another power supply and connect to another internet router with using IP Reporter again on this new router to create virtual IP on it ( after reset your machine ) |

I have tried multiple power supplies and network cables, powering just the controller, and then hash boards one at a time with zero effects. But I haven't tried connecting it to a different router. I will give that a shot, and see if it makes any difference.
Appreciate the recommendation. I'll let you know how this goes. Bitmain still quiet via a parts request.
