Wow, the new S9 batch price is really a rip off price.

But I'm positively surprised with my 1x  S9 (January 21-30 delivery batch) order.

First, the APW3++ power supply was shipped way early in November 12.

And now the S9 was shipped already today in December 19.

It left the Fedex origin facility already.  Smiley

Unreal   Shocked     .... Now E9+ is up for sale for around 6-8+k. It will be interesting to see if anyone is going to jump on these grenades and to see what Avalon will do with the 821.

Price /TH today is unacceptable.

So as terrible as it is we might actually not see a huge jump in dif because of predatory pricing and hopefully less purchasing- (silver lining?)

We should collectively put our brains and resources together to get a manufacturer going in US ( that would be nice)

That Ebit E9 Plus miner price is just a translation / conversion error.

If you look at the Chinese part of the website, you can see that the price is 6840 RMB.

6840 RMB equals about 1035 USD.

hi,

my i please ask how they inform you about the earlier shipping date? By email?

I read here that a lot f people are getting their miners shipped earlier than promised

I am asking because since September i have placed 4 different orders from bitmain and they are all the time ship the products the 1st or the 2nd day of the 10 day promised date.

My business partner is placing into his account the same amount and the same products at the same dates and bitmain always shipping the goods either the last day of the 10 day they promised or even worst they delay him even more and ship after the date they promise!

It is just crazy  Sad

In your case do they send you an email saying they will ship earlier or you just monitor your account page and you see a tracking number out of the blue???

Thank you in advance and sorry for my bad English as they are not my first language.

S9s are showing as Sold out already on Bitmain...

They came back in stock a couple moments later. This often happens right before they actually go out of stock.

Some real crazy FOMO going on. They can honestly charge whatever they want for these and it will sell out - I'm surprised they didn't just raise it to $5,000 and people would still buy them.

When are we likely to see an upgrade to the S9 which is starting to feel a bit antiquated? Also, is anyone aware of how much easier it might be to acquire miners from the earlier batches if living in China through a supplier of some kind?

I'm guessing that Bitmain is waiting for another competitor to show off a rival to the S9. Bitmain will assess the situation and immediately start pre-sales for their S9 successor (S11 perhaps). The pricing will be just good enough to still go with Bitmain. I suspect they will sell out within a few minutes regardless of specs or pricing.

In my country, mining doesn't matters, because price of import a miner equipament of other countries is so high due the tax and the price here is so high too. So, no matter what, with a low money to invest on is impossible to mine anything.

@ikon31
I simply received the e-mail that you always receive when Bitmain delivers you order.

It is an e-mail message with title "BITMAIN Order Shipped" .
It includes the order invoice and Fedex tracking information.
