Corsair PCI-E cables arrived, went to get the second A4 online.  Cables don't fit my power supply.  Description on the web site and cable says for Ax1200 only.  I have Ax1200i PSU's.  One would assume Ax1200 and Ax1200i are the same animal with pcie cables... Worse yet no way to contact Corsair.  No phone, online chat is offline, nothing.  Only way is to open a ticket and wait.  This is completely unacceptable.  After this I cannot recommend Corsair products.  They should have came with 8 pcie cables for the 8pcie ports on the PSU.  Nope, you apparently have to buy them if you want more.   So now I am stuck waiting for Corsair to respond to my ticket and explain what cables I actually need.

corsair does come thru on the online eventually...you may only get a replacement set however...but likely you can sell them on eBay for the same price in that this seems
a bit too common....but anyway it is a round about way out of this

anyway with Trump being elected and the missiles in the air come January 2017 or so...don't sweat the small stuff Smiley (kidding I hope) Smiley

Hey guys,

Thanks for your feedback! Don't worry, A4 customers will always be protected against any issues. We will provide constant and continuous support on our A4 official miners even after 3 month mining period. We will release a new version firmware within 24 hours and make sure all miners work even better with good profit.  Right now, A4 remains the best in the business unchallenged. Any other product claiming to be better than 14nm A4 can not be seen anywhere. Get A4 today and start mining for profit!

BTW, right now A4 price remains the same as announced and shipment will still be based on 3 miner per order shipment preference.

Thanks very much. Any questions, pls email me at zhangq@innosilicon.com.cn and luojm@innosilicon.com.cn,

cheers

I'm still over here wondering what this means

We will provide constant and continuous support on our A4 official miners even after 3 month mining period.

Are they saying they will only mine for 3 months?, or are they saying they will only be supported for 3 months? or are they saying they come with a 3 month warranty? Last time I checked my A4 only came with a 45 day warranty. 45 days does not equal 90 days.

they may only support the software for 90 days and the hardware for 45 days...KNC Titans had 1 year warranty (they meant to be 90 days but they forgot to change the web page at launch so they had to backtrack) ....but anyway even with that they only spent 5 months supporting the firmware...said it was 'complete'

heh

gen tarkin made a mockery of that indeed with his 3rd party mods...truth is they stopped firmware support when they stopped making miners for home use.

Anyway not sure what would happen with the A4's in that they are making the majority for their IPO data hall folks..you'd think they'd have longer on the firmware support

and/or at least tell a guy how to fix the hardware after the 45 day warranty....at least open that all up for 3rd party repair or open source firmware support

but who knows...I'm just guessing on the above....(bored waiting to get my haircut ...my life is soooooo exciting) Smiley

I'm pondering purchasing the MOQ 5 in the next week--I only have power and space for two unit, however.  I plan on selling the reminder on eBay, but if someone here would like to escrow for a unit, I would be happy to discuss that.

What's the price they are going for now?

They want a wire transfer, but allowed for a BTC payment.  That said, it was 14.2 for five units.  That's a 200 dollar premium per unit, but it's cheaper than buying on eBay.  So I will purchase the MOQ in full, no need to front me the BTC.  The cost would be 2.84 BTC per unit plus whatever shipping looks like in the lower 48, US.

I can forward the thread from innosilicon if anyone would like to review that.

Let me know if anyone is interested.

So they are asking a $200 premium for btc use?  I would think it would be the other way around that a crypto company would offer a discount vs. Cash.  Still waiting until all the bugs are out and these things start mining correctly....in the meantime hoping my titans dont brick  Undecided

Yeah, I agree on the BTC bit.  They told me their finance department prefers it, and they have to add overage due to price fluctuation.  In their slight defense they aren't a purely crypto company, so I can see the bean counters being apprehensive.

I'm going to hold off until we have solid firmware.  I'll still be happy to ship to someone in the US at cost--I'll yell again once the firmware shapes up.

Yea, they do make a lot of other products, although the pix from their labs make it seem like a small time operation.

My boards keep dropping left and right.
Im working on a script which will detect the missing board and issue a command to the PDU to cycle power. Doing this manually really sucks. Takes a lot of time to monitor.

Normally, im getting about 65-68MHs per blade.
This is about 260-272MHs per miner.
Im pulling about 4.7A @ 220V per miner, or just over 1Kw per miner.

You guys are doing better than I am then.  On the miner side it indicates 265-270.  Usually around 270.  BUT, on the pool side it is in the 240-250 range.  So where it matters on the pool side it is coming up short.  The hard part is getting a nice solid stable run.  Mine went into a good 12-15 hours of nonstop restarts yesterday evening, all night and into the morning this morning.  It just finally calmed down about 8 hours ago.

So when it is stable it still isn't quite measuring up on the pool side for what it is rated.  If they had kept the MHS rating at 260 then this miner is close enough to that to say it is a 260mhs miner, but when they raised it to 280mhs this miner is falling well short of that on the pool side.  Even on the miner itself it clearly pegs itself at 270mhs on the miner side.  So they really need to re-rate these at 260mhs and charge accordingly for it.  But until they are stable and not constantly restarting it just won't matter.

This is why I keep telling people popping into this thread wanting to pull the trigger on an A4 to "WAIT".  I know it is hard when you really need and want the latest miner, but the A4 is not stable and not ready for prime time.  Unless you want a full time babysitting job with these miners wait until Inno gets us a solid software release that can stabilize these miners and hopefully bump the hash rate up to what it was rated at on the pool side.  What the miner says in the GUI means nothing if you are not getting those numbers on the pool.

Just my 2 cents.

Your hash numbers are about like mine.. Are you on litecoinpool or prohash? Also what is you voltage your running.
