VRM almost dropping below the profitability threshold. Might have to stop mining. if the dev team does nothing for two weeks, the entire ico was embarrassing. Smacks of a scam Doug is working on the in-wallet miner for optimization and they are in talk with the Marketing company. What do you expect them to do? Please explain why the entire ico was embarrassing. Smacks of a scam... How was it a scam?

Pool is approaching 50% nethash threshold (Currently about 48.8%).
Thank testbug for that wonderful contribution but without releasing the pool code, you are helping killing the coin faster by centralization of its mining and botnets will come even sooner.
I'm back to solomine even if it's futile now.
Good luck to all VRM miners.
if someone is able to Setup an MPOS based VRM Pool for me which is flawlessly working, hit me up. (will pay)

souljah1h miner but why? to quickly dumping? Man, you have to react to what is happening. This mine botnet then dropped on the support that is not.
Investors are not fools, we all know who mainly earned on the pump ico VRC.

where is devs? where is the promotion? They talked to a marketing company last week. Working on the details. Devs are at work lol. an update regarding current developments, the price being a fraction of the ico buy in, solo mining essentially died -it was suppose to promote decentralization, instead half the mining is in a single pool, stuff like that. the name of the marketing company would also help, because if a phone call to jay jay to discuss twitter marketing is the latest verium news i'll be dumping immediately. i know people are busy but taking 10 minutes out of the day to assemble a twitter update makes a huge difference. Blue Lynx marketing. Solo mining hasn't died, considering the network hash rate was around 400 KH/min before the pool went live and is over 800 now, I'd say it's slightly stronger. All those mining on the pool are paying significant tx fees. 0,8 Mh/min = 0,01 Mh/s ?! This is HUGE ahahahaha

Sir Ioin, you make some valid points. The total network hashrate is not one of them. Trying to use it as an argument shows how stupid you really are.

Guys, unless you are testing low diff abuse please use -a scrypt:1048576 in your miner command line :-) For example: minerd.exe -a scrypt:1048576 --url=stratum+tcp://verium.graymines.net:9666 --user=VHVb4gKjpz1dGk58XcCGxVJMbg2MHZZ9Wx --pass=worker1 Is Verium (vrm) pool in testing mode still? Nope

does solo mining with the wallet work at all anymore?
it seems since the mining pool(s) the wallet will either crash or get stuck at syncing blocks and has not produced any verium.

I'm still solo mining hard without any issues, not sure why anyone with a decent cpu would even bother joining a pool

I want to solo mine this with my i7 4790k overclocked to 4.8ghz.
If I understand correctly, I just download the wallet and click the button to start solo mining correct?
I will get credited when I find a block, right?
|
I had my account hacked due to a weak password I was told. It has be re-secured and a stronger password implemented. Hacker was posting malware links using my account. Always use a very strong password.

Yea it's as simple as that, if you have Linux compile effectsToCause's solo miner and you will get around 40% improvement.

@testbug You need to change the Welcome message on the pool **Update*** Finished: - implementation of pool backups - email notifications - 0% fee for all testers has been applied :-) Please note: you can't gpu mine here Today I see the 1.337% fee is being imposed, which you stated would be free for 1 month for testers. I don't mind the fee, but you should notify people before simply imposing or increasing the fee which you had previously said would be x for specified time.

www: verium.graymines.net:8000
example miner config: cpuminer-gw64.exe -a scrypt:1048576 --url=stratum+tcp://verium.graymines.net:9666 --user=VHVb4gKjpz1dGk58XcCGxVJMbg2MHZZ9Wx --pass=miner1
To clarify verium.graymines.net pool info:
1) Payout is after you get 10coins 2) There is 1% fee
Also keep in mind that there is 0.2 coin tx fee on network, so you get less.
M.
edit: Also notice if biggest pool has 95% hashrate and 2 other have the rest you won't have payouts too fast UNLESS you farmers make balance between pools yourself :-)
