hi @tytanick
this why?
Occurs after you update os 1155
I have changed 3 Flash Disk, but it still remains the same

Please write me an email to admin@simplemining.net and ask for Tytus to be assigned to your ticket, i will take a look on Tuesday/Wensday.
We have easter holidays right now.
P.S - the 1155 update does not have to do anything with this problem Smiley
It is sgminer problem that we need to investigate.

I have a rig with 13x RX480 highly tuned cards running SMOS where the rig crashes from time to time. There is nothing related in the Claymore miner logfile, also SMOS seems to not keep the Ubuntu logs in /var/log - any idea how I might isolate a potential card that is causing the problem without disassembling the rig and taking out cards? I don't have windows, only SMOS.

Strangely, this rig also do not accept any custom mem clocks via the SMOS console. Whatever numbers I put in, regardless if a single one or per card, it just takes the default mem clocks from the cards itself (which are optimized per card).

Any ideas?

PS:
All cards were pre-tested under load prior building the rig on a testbench and the clocks of each cards were tuned indivdually so that they do not produce memory errors. The core clocks are all 1150 and core voltage is 887mV also pre-tested under load with each single card. Each cards temp in the rig do not get over 67°C. Running optimized Claymore-eth 10.6 or 11.6 where 10.6 seems to be more stable.

Tytanick

Are you able to update Nevermore and Brian miners to latest versions so that it can mine 16R and 16S algorithms?

Thanks

hello to all. started switching my AMD Rigs from ETH to RVN.
What hashrates do you receive? i can hardly recognize anything in the console so hard to see what hashrate miner is showing.
on pool i get 12mh per 6x rx570 4gb rig. i think its not ok. i read that it should be 6 MH per card at least. any ideas or similar results?

Guys,

Anyone having this error ? the error is looping until i shut down and restart the rig. The error is appearing once per day randomly.

 "EXT4-fs error (device sda2): ext4_find_entry:1431: inode #27 comm gmain: readin directory lblock 0"
 "EXT4-fs error (device sda2): ext4_find_entry:1431: inode #27 comm gmain: readin directory lblock 0"
 "EXT4-fs error (device sda2): ext4_find_entry:1431: inode #27 comm gmain: readin directory lblock 0"
  etc

SMOS is showing the rig OFF.

Action already performed:

- changed OC settings, lowered them or even no OC;
- changed the gpu's between risers, etc.

Also the same problem with this rig is that is restarting 1,2 times per day without any notice.

Biostar TB250-BTC+
2 x 1050 ti - 4gb
2 x 1060 6 gb

tks in advance,

still having this problem on my 2nd rig.
SMOS is showing the rig off, on the screen no mining

- change all risers again;
- lower all oc settings;

anyone experiencing this problem ?

Hi, maybe using gparted (https://gparted.org) and resizing the usb drive will solve your problem. it takes couple of minutes to resize usb at gparted.
SMos using 6 gb of drive, there will be bunch of free unused space, u can merge unused space.

sory for my english, hope it helps.

got the same issue

line 68 Illegal instruction $MINER_PATH $MINER_OPTIONS

but only with one miner (nevermore ravencoin miner (modified ccminer)).  evilminer (for ravencoin) or dstm (zm equihash) works without issue.
i posted the issue in the ravencoin thread but i guess it would have been better suited here. here are the details of the issue:
https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=2752467.msg33784667#msg33784667

Interestingly the Miner Path problems refers to the same line (line 68). But without the zero_free_space error)
there should be enough room on the SmOS usb:
