I got this on all rigs with    ccminer-tpruvot-v2.2.5-x16s-cuda8.0 on raven coin. 10-50 sec of normal work and this error again.

Would anyone else be interested in having the Overclock settings moved from the rig page to rig groups?  My OC settings are all over the map and I think it would be better if the OC settings could also be configured at the Rig Group level.

That way you could configure rig groups based on miner, coin, rig and OC settings then save them off.  That would make switching between coins so much easier.  Right now you need to reassign the group then dig up old OC settings and reconfigure.

Thoughts??

I concur. It is really tough to keep track of the OC settings for each Algo... Maybe being able to edit the notes section after setting up the rig group would be helpful??!!

Yes.  You just need to create a rig group with the proper miner and pool.  I was using https://zpool.ca or https://xvg-lyra.suprnova.cc for the pool.  Miner: ccminer-tpruvot-v2.2.5-cuda8.0

zpool configuration would look like this
-a lyra2v2 -o stratum+tcp://lyra2v2.mine.zpool.ca:4533 -u YourXVGAddressHere -p c=XVG

Suprnova is a little different since you don't need to specify the coin you want to get paid in as the password.

Assigning OC to specific mining group would be bad idea.
There many different set of cards that are working with the same miner options.
But i am thinking about separate new thing like OC PRESETs.
There would be just presets which will be somehow assigned to rigs.
I would do it like this:

You can set as always different clocks in rig settings and that will not be changed.
But you will get extra page/menu in which you will be to create OC presets.
Then you will need to select rigs and make action like "apply preset with specific name/number"
And about selecting rigs.
It would be good to write preset name in each rig description, then you would just need to search for specific keyword in search box.
That will filter and show you all rigs with this specific keyword, and you can make SELECT ALL -> apply OC preset.
It is not ideal but it is very easy to do so it will be fast.

And making this OC PRESETS exactly like OC GROUP will make whole process much longer.

That sounds perfect! I have like 10 systems which are identically with SimpleRigResetter. Works really like a charm. Adding these features will make my life even more easy!  Grin
Currently it's a hell switching algo's with 20 different systems / oc settings.

Tytanick a lot of people have same problems, do You plan to do something? I've double checked all recommended mobo/os settings and they're just fine, what else can I do?

Tytanick, why You don't want to help me?

Hi, I got about 16 rigs, some of them with 1070 and some with 1070TI, I have huge problems with OC, some of cards have default settings like that:

ETH: GPU0 26.810 Mh/s, GPU1 31.591 Mh/s, GPU2 31.531 Mh/s, GPU3 31.585 Mh/s, GPU4 31.637 Mh/s, GPU5 31.387 Mh/s, GPU6 31.477 Mh/s, GPU7 31.514 Mh/s, GPU8 31.599
 Mh/s, GPU9 31.653 Mh/s, GPU10 31.611 Mh/s, GPU11 31.624 Mh/s

what can I do to fix it?

Thanks allot mate! I am using miningpoolhub. Strangely enough when i went to see the pool address it shows Scrypt as algorithm. On whattomine it says Lyra2REv2.
Will try zpool or supernova tomorrow. Have used Supernova before and it was pretty reliable.
Thanks for the help, much appreciated!

Yes, Verge uses several algos, including Lyra2 and X17, both of which have pools on Supernova--there should be separate XVG pool pages for script, x17, lyra2...

Hey can you add usb tethering option to SMOS, it would be of great help. The broadband connection is not reliable near my place so i have to use internet services from cellular network, right now i have connected my laptop to the cellular network device and my laptop is sharing internet to my computer. So you see i have to keep my laptop ON 24hrs and can not take it anywhere. And yeah i tried bridging connection to other wifi router but the cellular network device switches off after some time if not connected via usb tethering so thats a no go for me.
Any help and replies are appreciated.
Thanks.

Is there any way to get failover support with any of these miners such as ccminer? Normally you would setup a separate config file, but we just have a long string of text where we put the mining parameters.

UPDATE:
- added miner claymore-xmr-v11.3
- added miner xmr-stak-v2.4.1-cuda8 (nvidia+amd support of monero fork)
- added miner ccminer-tpruvot-v2.2.5-x16s-cuda8.0 (x16r and x16s support for nvidia)
- another invisible php code optimization

same miner crash issue with tpruvot-v2.2.5-x16s which i encountered in before (see mails before). i literally copied the line from enemy miner. its the same config. one has no issues (enemy), one crashed (nevermore, tpruvot)
/root/xminer.sh: line 69: 21902 Illegal instruction $MINER_PATH $MINER_OPTIONS

maybe if you try to reproduce it you could 1) select enemy miner and than 2) switch to nevermore or tpruvot-v2.2.5. maybe something gets messed up on the way.

as feature idea: would be get to have supminer, the x16r OSS derivate from the supernova admin.

Using the latest ccminer-tpruvot-v2.2.5-x16s-cuda8.0 miner... no issues... mining like a champ (1080ti, 1070, 1070ti, 1060, P106)

Hi,

I too started it can i have OC setting for your u have setted.

Hi,

The miner is getting crashed frequently.

Any solutions

My rig has 6x 1080ti and 1x 970
For x16r
using enemy miner
1080ti : OC settings: 150 on clock and 350 on memory and Power =165 watts
gtx 970: OC settings 200on clock and 0 on memory and power =200 (i have noticed that smos sets power setting using percentage of first cards maybe so 200/250 = 80percent i.e. in reality it is running at 116 watts max)
hashrate of setup= about 95MH/s max on rig and on pool its avg is about 78MH/s
pool= threeeyed
miner setting: -a x16r -o stratum+tcp://stratum.threeeyed.info:3333 -u xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx -p x -i 21,21,21,21,21,21,19
the last one is gtx970

For x16s
using ccminer-tpruvot-v2.2.5-x16s-cuda8.0
1080ti : OC settings: 110 on clock and 100 on memory and Power =165 watts
gtx 970: OC settings 200on clock and 0 on memory and power =200 (i have noticed that smos sets power setting using percentage of first cards maybe so 200/250 = 80percent i.e. in reality it is running at 116 watts max
pool= blockcruncher
Miner setting: -a x16s -o stratum+tcp://blockcruncher.com:3636 -u xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx [-p c=PGN] -i 20.5,20.5,20.5,20.5,20.5,20.5,19.5

ccminer-tpruvot-v2.2.5-x16s-cuda8.0 is slower then other options i.e. suprminer 1.6 ...etc
on suprminer windows get about 95MH/s on same setting as SMOS setting but not stable at all keeps crashing so needed to write batch file to start miner at every half an hour
while on ccminer-tpruvot-v2.2.5-x16s-cuda8.0 on SMOS get only about 72MH/s at max until now and yeah its stable for around 14hours now, not a single crash.

Hope this helps.

Hi

For X16r i am using Enemy miner and it is very stable and i am mining RVN.

For X16s i tried using ccminer-tpruvot-v2.2.5-x16s-cuda8.0 but it crashed every 30 seconds for PGN.
Pool: supernova

So i stopped mining PGN in my rig.

Any solution to start mining PGN with other miner or need to wait for Admin to add suprminer as the difficultity might increase.

Hi admin,

Can you add suprminer as quick as possible.

Hi admin,

Can you add suprminer as quick as possible.

found none for SMOS except the ccminer for x16s. so on SMOS u have to use ccminer 2.2.5 x16s if you wish to mine PGN.
u can try on windows but you will have to write a batch file to start the miner at startup and within that batch file add a option to kill the miner and start again if you want to leave it on its own. I ran it this way for more than 24hours without me intervening.
For my  rig, it mined for atleast half an hour before it crashed,
so i added script to batch file that i created to kill and start miner again every half an hour. Maybe for you its longer.
the intensity on windows was 19 max or else it used to crash in 5mins.
for best option i set the intensity to 18.5 so it does not crash easily.
The main reason of crashing was windows majorly cause windows kept restarting on crash.
I was using windows 10.

There's other option i.e. try ubuntu ,cause the devs of suprminer said that it is stable on linux.
the only issue is you have to install cuda n drivers n dependencies to run the miner.
i am too working on it today, lets see if it works.
For testing i am trying it on my laptop, if it works fine then will do the same for my rig.

Hi admin,

Can you add suprminer as quick as possible.

found none for SMOS except the ccminer for x16s. so on SMOS u have to use ccminer 2.2.5 x16s if you wish to mine PGN.
u can try on windows but you will have to write a batch file to start the miner at startup and within that batch file add a option to kill the miner and start again if you want to leave it on its own. I ran it this way for more than 24hours without me intervening.

Hi,

Thanks for your reply i am using NVIDA.

I am using only SMOS right now may be there is a chance to switch to some other OS based on the miner availability.

When i check for PGN nervermore-miner-x16s and Suprminer is best to mine it seems.

Waiting for the admin to add these miner.

Thanks
