Is someone successfully using the Stark 2.4.3 miner to mine Monero? The syntax is simple: --currency monero7 -o pool.xxx:port -u xxxxxx -p x but when I use it like this    --currency monero7 -o stratum+ssl://xmr-eu1.nanopool.org:14433 -u MoneroAddress -p x I get the SOCKET ERROR.

Fast connecting to xxx:4444 pool ...
SOCKET ERROR - [xxx:4444] CONNECT error:GetAddrInfo: No address associated with hostname
Fast-connecting to stratum ssl://xmr-eu1.nanopool.org:14433 pool ...
Pool stratum ssl://xmr-eu1.nanopool.org:14433 connected. Logging in ...
SOCKET ERROR -[stratum ssl://xmr-eu1.nanopool.org:14433] RECEIVE error:socket closed

Does anyone know what this error means?

My rigs were doing fine without the "stratum+ssl://"

This miner is impressive, now I can run a single miner for entire farm (AMD and NVIDIA)

If you are using Nanopool, just copy the sample in their Help section:

xmr-stak-v2.4.3

-o xmr-asia1.nanopool.org:14444 -u <yourmoneroaddress>.$rigName --currency monero7 -i 0 -p "" -r ""

Thank you, it works now. I just had to use the stratum port 14444 instead of SSL/TLS port.
What is surprising though is that with xmr stak I get 4238 H/s and with Claymore xmr 11.3 I get 5233 H/s for the same rig.

So I just recently started mining, and for the first month everything went fine. 100% uptime basically. Now every 24 hours or so my miner will show as offline on simplemining.net and be offline in dwarfpool, but the actual computer is still running fine and has the green light on so I assume its still connected to the internet. I've been trying to change the default information through ssh, but I'm still trying to figure it out. Does it sound like I'm being hacked?

I have problems with Claymore 11.7.
I used same syntax as for 11.6 but with 11.7 my last card gives me 4 MH/s.

http://s1062.photobucket.com/user/davor_vfr/media/error_zpsevamstgv.jpg.html

Code:
ETH: 04/25/18-14:20:01 - New job from us1.ethermine.org:5555
ETH - Total Speed: 125.885 Mh/s, Total Shares: 2, Rejected: 0, Time: 00:00
ETH: GPU0 30.456 Mh/s, GPU1 30.481 Mh/s, GPU2 30.430 Mh/s, GPU3 30.461 Mh/s, GPU4 4.057 Mh/s
ETH: 04/25/18-14:20:07 - New job from us1.ethermine.org:5555

For now I'm back to 11.6.

Any solution for this?

I am not sure if Simplemining.net is a SCAM or OS has a backdoor that makes it easily hackable.

If I don't keep watching it it will always change my settings of my miner in the background and it changed to a different pool and different wallet.

Here you go. That's the process that gets triggered by user "root", and it usually step over the process running by "miner" user. The user miner process usually is still running but not dong anything. The Web interface will show that your miner is up and running but in the end it is not NOT mining FOR YOU.

My RX580 rig is getting very low hashrates with xmr-stak-v2.4.2-cuda8 around 650 H/s per card. It should be around 850+ with these settings. I'm pretty sure they are just running a single thread.

Is there a way to run 2 threads with xmr-stak-v2.4.2-cuda8 or set intensity like I can with SGMiner?

In SGMiner it just needed
Code:
--rawintensity 1132 -w 8 -g 2 -text-only
at the end of the string.

I'm not sure what to add to the string in xmr-stak-v2.4.2-cuda8 to get these running 2 threads though.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

UPDATE v1163 and new miner
- fixed viewing stats for 11+ AMD GPUs
- added miner claymore-eth-v11.7
- added miner ccminer-KlausT-v8.21
- added miner ccminer-todd1251-x16r-v2.2.5
- added miner xmr-stak-v2.4.3
- added miner z-enemy-v1.08

Hi and thank a lot for adding 11.7!

i want to use the -r option, there is a "reboot.bash" file at SMOS? it may be very useful for me.
thx!

i talking about that:

-r   Restart miner mode. "-r 0" (default) - restart miner if something wrong with GPU. "-r -1" - disable automatic restarting. -r >20 - restart miner if something
wrong with GPU or by timer. For example, "-r 60" - restart miner every hour or when some GPU failed.
"-r 1" closes miner and execute "reboot.bat" file ("reboot.bash" or "reboot.sh" for Linux version) in the miner directory (if exists) if some GPU failed.
So you can create "reboot.bat" file and perform some actions, for example, reboot system if you put this line there: "shutdown /r /t 5 /f".

Gigabyte P106-100 problem

I have 3 rigs with 8 cards. After approx 30-35hrs of work, cards are going in some mode like sleep or so, showing 607MHz Core and 405MHz Mem clock. Rigs are not rebooted, just slows down. After restart, they are working well next 30-35hrs.

What ever OC settings I use, even 0, power between 70-90W, it simply doesn't matter.

Friend have two rigs with same cards, one with 8 cards, second with 4 cards, same problem.

Any one know something about this?

Thanks!
